Basically I got this used Toshiba nb305 , I wanted to completely disassemble it to change the thermal paste on this thing , but since this was my first time doing repairs, when I got to taking out the keyboard I didn’t know I had to loosen the clips holding it and just pulled the ribbon cable out by force , I later realized that I had not loosened the clips holding it ,

Now when I connected the ribbon cable back in and tried turning on the laptop, it does not power on , it only powers on if the keyboard ribbon cable is disconnected, I connected the keyboard ribbon cable while the system was on and the keyboard works fine , but after I turn it off , it just does not power on again without the keyboard ribbon cable being disconnected,

What do I do , should I just buy a new keyboard for it ?

Contacted Amex concierge today to get help with a restaurant reservation, they said that my card is not eligible for hotel bookings and reservation and that it’s only for Platinum Charge card , bruh how does a ₹10k card not have concierge service, and the taj and Accor plus kits will apparently take 90 days to be delivered 😭 , like bruh wth , what are they mining gold and gold plating the kits , priority pass which axis bank took 7 days to process and deliver, apparently Amex takes 2-4 weeks to deliver , that too I got confirmation today 3 days after enrolling, and the taj and Accor plus kits confirmation hasn’t even come yet , it’s been 3 days ,

Honestly the concierge service not being of any help was the biggest let down , no wonder ppl say it’s a shit card , upon which there is low acceptance of Amex everywhere, I don’t even think it has low forex fees , shit voucher redemption selections , I am genuinely so disappointed by concierge service, and kinda regretting getting this card , hopefully I can downgrade to plat travel next year

would love to get input on how to maximize benefits , I honestly don’t think I’ll hit ₹50k/mo spend to get ₹1k voucher only because Amex has the shitty offline acceptance ( I already have an Axis Amex privilege card and it’s horrible , that too I live in a metro city , Bengaluru) and my half my spends are offline

Honestly my plan is to use this for a year and hopefully ask for a downgrade to Platinum Travel credit card
