The state said I am not eligible for a license.....but there is no way to appeal?

I live in CA and passed my Independent Adjusters Exam. After 3 years with FEMA, the state said my experience did not count toward the 4,000 hours needed to be licensed. When I asked for an appeal form, I was told that I could not do it because I TECHINCIALLY was NOT denied. I think Adjuster Trainee positions don't seem to be hiring me because I seem overqualified. What would you do? Should I just reapply for a license? Am I a lost cause? Are there other states that will let me get a license without the experience and without living there?

MAGA Historical Preservation: Why does the Confederacy matter but DC does not?

In 2020 and some previous years, Democrats were advocating for the removal of Confederacy statues in the south. The Democrat claim was that the statues were "racist" while the Republican party said to keep the statues because they were a part of history. Many southern Republicans still proudly show their Confederate history flying Confederate flags. So, here's the question: Why do you care about removing statues BUT you do not care about painting over the puddle of the Washington Memorial? The body of water was meant to be a murky reflection pond of the statue, not a perfect pool. Why don't you care about preserving the architectural history of the East Wing?

Why did these historic statues of Conservative generals from 1860 mean so much but the historic architecture and structures of DC do not?

The Question/Pushback I would've asked Dr.K during Jubilee.

On Jubillee, Dr.K makes the following claim "Hopelessness feels like a conclusion but it's actually a symptom." This is the question I would've asked back with genuine curiosity: Where does one draw the line between "hopelessness" and acceptance. For example, if I am a child with a pet fish. Once it dies, I can HOPE it comes back to life until I realize it never will. Is this "hopelessness"/loss of hope or simple acceptance that pets do not come back to life? Merely a conclusion that death exists?

Now, to apply it to some real world examples. If an individual is diagnosed with heart disease, the person can HOPE that it will go away. Once a doctor says "We cannot treat you.", is loss of hope,( "hopelessness") or mere acceptance that..... the person is ill.

If we assume that the 6 stages of grief are a valid, denial(or possibly hope) is the first, depression is in the middle and acceptance is the final stage. When is someone "hopeless" or when is it merely acceptance?
