First booked flight with JetBlue

Cancelled!

It is B6 1282. A near perfect on time rating over the past 2 weeks and cancelled today with no reason.

No weather at either end of the trip. What could it be? Could this be due to staff getting stuck elsewhere due to other weather earlier this week?

Air conditioning down

I haven’t seen this posted yet, but it appears that all interior air-conditioning is down right now. It has been for the past four days.

They say they’re working on it but if you’re coming on a hot day, expecting to get some relief in the VIP area or any of the restaurants, you won’t get that.

I’m still so impressed with how :-) and helpful the employees are.

Update:
The following has AC (based on what I experienced)
Fountains and floats
Firehouse bbq
Bathrooms

Premium dining pass still valid?

Hi all.

Two weeks ago I bought a day premium dining pass for $49 (super worth it)

I added it to my account and used it.

I’m still seeing it in my account as an active pass. Did it maybe not properly swipe? They gave me a wristband for the day but maybe it didn’t link or something?

Yellowing leaves

Hi y’all. My pathos used to thrive in my old home where it was right up against the window. We’ve moved and I’ve tried to get it as close to a window as possible, but I can’t really hang it anywhere where it’s gonna get the same medicine. That being said it’s still get some good light, but I have noticed some of these yellowing leaves.

What might that be and should I just pull them off?

I just started playing this game

I had been interested in the game, so when I found it for $11 on PlayStation store last week I gave it a go.

Wow I am so glad that I did!

It’s one of my favorite franchises, and it has similar gameplay to one of my favorite games, BOTW/TOTK.

I got to the vocation today and it made my jaw drop when I first walked through. Brilliant?

How to close this gap between driveway and garage center column?

My garage has been getting very muggy and warm this summer. I understand I won’t get much temp control, but I’m assuming this large gap is pulling hot damp air into the garage. I would like to seal it.

I am seeing that backer rod and some sealant will do the trick? If that’s the case, I’m having trouble picturing where to apply the polyurethane (like loctite PL). Am I just like creating a seal between the driveway and the actual foam rod?

Peek A Boo

I found this neat. Should I move it out from the fenestration or keep it in?

Plumber vs irrigation company standoff over a tiny leak... help me find my zone valves?

Hey everyone, looking for some advice because I’m stuck in a finger-pointing match between a plumber and an irrigation tech, and I can't even find my own hardware to troubleshoot it.

On June 16, a plumber replaced my main underground irrigation ball valve. Ever since that exact day, my smart water meter has shown a constant trickle of 1.3 gallons per hour 24/7 when the system is resting. It’s a 10-zone automatic system, and I tried manually running every zone for a minute or two yesterday to see if it would flush out any PVC shavings from the plumber's cut. The system ran fine, but the meter went right back to the constant 1.3 GPH trickle the second it finished.

The real issue is that I’ve walked my entire property and cannot find any other valve boxes. I only have the main irrigation box by the street meter and my PVB backflow assembly hidden in the ivy. There are absolutely no other green lids anywhere in the yard.

The plumber told me it's a downstream irrigation issue and they won't help unless they dig up the whole yard. The irrigation company wants a $300 diagnostic fee to come out with a wire tracker to locate the buried boxes and find the leak. At 1.3 gallons an hour, it's only costing me about $4 to $5 a month on my water bill, so paying $300 just to hunt for the box feels like a waste, but the constant leaking is driving me crazy.

Where the heck are my 10 automatic zone valves usually hidden if there are zero other boxes visible in the yard? Is it common for installers to completely bury them under the turf, or should I be looking in my crawl space? Should I just ignore this until winterization in the fall and hope the blowout clears it, or is there a trick to finding these things myself?

Peroneal tendonitis need advice

I have had chronic tendonitis in my right foot for nearly two decades.

A couple weeks ago I flared up what seems to be peroneal tendonitis. Pain is mainly behind/outside the ankle bone (photo attached). I can bear weight fine, but walking aggravates it — especially the “lifting off” phase of a step.

I wore a walking boot for a few days and it helped a lot while wearing it. The weird part is: the second I take the boot off and walk in normal shoes, I immediately feel the tendon “activate” again. Not excruciating pain, but very noticeable irritation.

A few details:
No pop or acute injury
No major swelling
Can walk, but it gets irritated quickly
Shoes/barefoot/crocs all have same affect

Broken boot now loses air compression, so I’m hesitant to rely on it anyway.

I’m mainly confused about the balance between:
resting/immobilizing it
vs
not becoming dependent on the boot and weakening/stiffening everything

Has anyone dealt with this cycle where the boot helps while wearing it, but symptoms immediately return once walking normally again? Did gradual loading/PT end up being the answer?

These have been my favorite chips for decades!

No other kettle chips compare. Gotta be the lard.
