He's 20lbs and sits here so I can feel his distress signals when his 5lb sister steals his bread
I got it back for him but he needs to do these things himself! He's a grown ass man.

The fate of the Airbenders is one of the best writings of something that dark in a kids show that I think I've ever seen. The devastation, impact, and reality of it was done so well without being overwhelming for children. The return of the Airbenders felt like a step back from that and just weak. I do understand that the world is unbalanced and that to rebalance the world there would need to be something done about the Airbenders. But it felt pretty disappointing, kind of disconnected from previous storytelling, and a little too childish for a show that has demonstrated the capability of going to harsh places.
I feel that the return of the Airbenders could have used elements from ATLA that made it more natural and foreseeable.
The Fire Nation has kidnapped and kept benders instead of killing them. Some Fire Nation armies knowing the next avatar would be very young they could have kidnapped some women as war prizes and taken them back to the Fire Nation. Those Airbenders could still be within the walls of their prisons and the royal palace or they could have escaped and attempted to hide amongst the populace. Their children could still be in the Fire Nation but without training or spiritual guidance their skills are very weak and they are oblivious to their airbending abilities.
Airbenders are nomads and we have seen how benders like the sand benders, combustion benders, and the swamp tribe are examples of how enclaves of benders can create unique bending and culture when separated from the larger community. We know those benders exist and honestly I felt that that was going to be a much bigger thing than it was. I thought it was foreshadowing that there are airbenders but now what we expect. Setting up that there are Airbenders just of a different type than usual who had either been in hiding or separated from the world would have been a payoff to those earlier depictions of atypical bending. A sort of chekhovs gun, if you will.
And then the Earth Kingdom. They were up to some nefarious activities. And the Earth Kingdom is huge. I could see a scenario where the Earth Kingdom cooked up some scheme and snatched up any Airbenders within their territory during the genocide claiming they were helping them only to imprison and use them for some maliciousness.
This is not ladylike behavior, miss!
Searched up a series to see which streaming platform to watch it on and just got blasted by the ending with no warning 😮💨
I recently saw a video of Brandon Rogers in black face where he made a skit about how black people are disgusting, stupid, and violent degenerates that eat shit and garbage. This was a minstrel show. This was absolutely foul. This was racism.
Black face has not been okay for over a hundred years. It has a long history of acceptance by white culture with tolerance and criticism by black culture. It is 2026 and there is no reason that we should ever ever tolerate black face. I did not know about this video. I also did not know about Brandon Rogers' brand of edgy comedy. I'm not someone to investigate or go through actors social media presence. I, and many others, are upset about this now because we found out about it now. This video was not just black face. This was not just a silly costume, a slur spoken in anger, or an off color joke. This was a horrific and disgusting display of anti blackness that was planned, scripted, videoed, and then placed out into the world to see.
There is no period of time between that video and the knowledge of that video that would make it okay. Whether this was last year, five years ago, or thirty years ago, this was horrible. Whether black face was done once, twice, or multiple times, it is all not okay. Young people do make mistakes. But this was not a mistake. This was a purposeful action of racism. Brandon took the videos down (but left some of his Auntie Fee episodes up, which is just black face without the paint). He spoke up about his offensive and edgy comedy in a podcast in 2016 (which I discussed here ).
Brandon knew the video was bad enough to take it down. He knew his past was bad enough to speak on it. But he was not apologetic enough to give a public statement of apology and remorse about his excact actions (he never does say he did black face) and to have that statement on his main channel or main social media platform. That podcast was something someone had to look for. Forgiveness cannot be given until an apology has been made. There are many people who do deplorable things and then hide those actions behind charitable donations and campaigns for good causes. Brandon Rogers is in the LA sphere which is a more liberal sphere. We do not know if his behavior is a genuine sign of improvement and remorse or just a facade for monetary gain and influence. We do not know this because he has purposefully minimized and diminished his previous actions.
The problem here is not "cancel culture" but boundaries and choice. Black people often have boundaries about who they will and will not support. I would never have supported this production if I had known about Brandon's actions. Brandon took that choice away from us. If he had done it and give a genuine and sincere apology where he properly addressed his actions and harm without any excuses or explanations (Jenna Marbles did a really good job with this) I would be more forgiving. But he didn't. He has taken the money and praise from the very people he harmed without a hint guilt.
And while this is in no way a fault of Vivzie. She, as the show's creator and as an employer of Brandon Rogers, has assumed responsibility for him. She takes no blame for his actions but she does assume the blame for her own. Brandon Rogers is not just a voice actor but he is also a writer for both Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel. He directly profits from us and from Vivzie. Brandon does not need to be canceled indefinitely. But because of what he did, the attempted erasure of what he did, and his entanglement with the shows, he should no longer be able to be associated with and profit from Vivienne's work. If she didn't know, she was also mislead into hiring this person. She has put herself into a financial relationship with someone who committed a disgusting racist act. If I were her, I wouldn't be able to look Brandon in the face knowing what he did and what he hid much less sign his paychecks and laugh it up with him at conventions. If you truly stand by anti blackness. If you truly believe that black face is a disgusting and morally reprehensible act. Please take that stand now. Please, respectfully and with maturity, reach out to Brandon and Vivzie about your hurt and disgust about his actions. We cannot allow this to just coast by. Take this moment to be an ally to the black members of this fandom and stand with us against those who hurt us.
She loves bread products but it has no nutritional value for her!
We all agree that there is no such thing as an asexual spectrum. The prefix a- means "not". We are not sexual. Simple. However, I do think that we do have something in common with graysexuality, demisexuality, and the like. Theres transgender or cisgender. Gay or straight. And yes, typical sexual attraction and non typical sexual attraction.
What do you think would be an appropriate name or label for people who are outside of the typical norm of sexual attraction?
