Charge my own r134a

I have a BevAir BM23 four-tap kegerator that doesn't want to go below 42F. The plaque on the inside says it's R124a, charge 3.75oz, low psi 250, high psi 300. If I have a canister of r134a with a pressure gauge, is it safe to charge the system myself or should I find a pro?

Old appliances - South side

Howdy,

I have an old chest freezer that doesn't freeze. It'll likely cost significantly less to replace it than get it fixed.

Give me some ideas of who might take it and actually do something good with it.

Thanks!!

Alpha-gal accommodations

Have y’all had to make any menu or kitchen prep adjustments for alpha-gal? Must be heavily location dependent but apparently these ticks are being found in more and more locations every year

“Alpha-gal is usually triggered by a tick bite (most commonly Lone Star tick in the United States) which causes the immune system to create a food allergy to mammalian products. This includes red meats, dairy, and animal byproducts such as gelatin and certain medications or vaccines.”

Protect your key fobs at all. Cost. Volvo dealership just quoted me $850 to replace one.

You won't have recommendations on how to do that without donating a child to Volvo or maybe a limb?
