How to deal with being so tired all the time, it's affecting my studying

I get 8 hours of sleep or even more most nights, I work out and I eat generally good. I don't stay up very late like I used to. I'm still so tired all the time and falling asleep at my desk while studying, I just cannot study properly because it's sucking all the energy out of me constantly! And I'm not doing well in my classes despite studying so much. Before anyone mentions caffeine, I do drink caffeine and it helps for maybe 5 minutes before doing nothing to me and honestly most times I get even more tired after drinking it. I drink either an 8oz redbull, or a Celsius or an espresso latte from Starbucks. So none of these help majority of the time. Every day at around 1-3 pm I'm just so tired that I cannot even stand I need to sleep or lay down it actually hurts to be standing or sitting I need to lay down. I only study well in the morning or evening after the sun goes down, but in the morning i have class and that also takes a lot of my energy. I take iron vitamins and regular vitamins too. Any tips?

Exam Cheaters

Over my many years in engineering school so far, I have noticed an increase in cheaters and they have the audacity to either lie about it or say it loud and proud that they cheated. Even one time he said it infront of the professor and the professor did NOTHING. I want professors to do something. I want someone to do something. I want them to walk around and inspect what people are doing, how are they so oblivious? Guy in my class went from a 4 on an exam to an 80 something and openly admitted to cheating. How in the hell is the professor not noticing the obvious cheating? Not saying it's not possible, but come on. That kind of grade jump is very hard especially for these super complex courses and everyone's averaging 40-50s. It makes me so upset, because why am I even bothering to have academic honesty, what morals do I have that stops me from cheating? I will never do it. Why aren't we taking all exams in proctored testing centers. Why aren't we making people clear their calculator before the exam. What are we going to do about our future that will be full of degree holders that cheated their way through? Nobody wants an engineer that is a liar and cheat, yet they always secure big roles. This is the problem when nobody is being held accountable. And no we shouldn't just let them and mind our own business, they need to be called out. Our environment is way too forgiving.

TikTok has become a problem

I have 300k+ followers on tik tok. I only get 100 or less likes on my content and less than 1k views. Every single time they ask me to pay to promote, absolutely not!! My Instagram has exactly 1 thousand followers as of just today, and I'm getting thousands of likes on the same exact content. ( I upload the same videos to tiktok as I do IG with the same hashtags) within the past 30 days on IG I have 170k views. I post cosplay, dance, regular clothing videos, trendy stuff, etc. What is up with tiktok? It never used to be this way. And what can I even do about this?

Wanting to become a bottle girl, question about social media

Hello! I want to be a bottle girl and I will be moving to Chicago in a few weeks so I thought I would start looking around at nightclubs/bars to apply to. I have been to multiple nightclubs and bars in Chicago already and I love the city (I don't live far from the city currently). One of my questions is that they all seem to ask for your social media handle. Currently, I do modeling and cosplay and I have a public account for that and I've been growing a good following. But I also have a personal private account. Should I be making a whole new account for this? Or will they care that I cosplay on the side as well as model if I give them that public one. I'm not very keen on giving them my personal private account. I know that social media definitely plays a role in promoting tables and bottles! I also am not too sure if I want to be promoting those things on my modeling/cosplay account.
If anyone can give me some tips or info about it I would appreciate it, I really enjoy nightlife and like to go to raves as well, I have been a barista in the past.

Worried that I chose the wrong major

I'm a mechanical engineering student going into pretty much my junior year, I'm a transfer so it doesn't perfectly match up with a typical 4 year plan. I love science, and I'm a creative person, I enjoy the idea of working in sustainability or doing CAD work. But after an internship I had this summer I've realized that I really dislike the whole "9-5" idea and participating in making connections on LinkedIn and faking your personality like you're a "go-getter". It makes me feel trapped like I'm a robot waking up, going to work, putting on a personality act, come home, sleep. Especially after the commute times. I feel like I am faking who I am. I'm worried that I will come to dislike engineering because of the 9-5. Maybe I will get some comments saying that this is just how life is, but I'm wondering if there's other options such as WFH or coming in earlier and leaving earlier things like that. I have always wanted to be a bartender or a server, and I got a taste of that when I worked at Starbucks but obviously that's not sustainable as far as making a living. I really enjoyed the schedule when I worked at Starbucks and I was constantly on my feet making drinks and taking orders. I'm also afraid I won't have time for any of my hobbies anymore, I go to the gym a lot, and I also make wigs, costumes, and props. I enjoy sharing my processes on social media.

Help with wire structure in wig

So I'm making Aria's wig from DanDaDan, I've only seen one other person actually share their process so this first photo is a screenshot of that. I understand the helmet wig base process however I have no clue how they actually attached those wires for the structure... they just kind of come out of the wig base. Perhaps they hot glue the wire to the base and add more batting over top?

Breakfast Calories?

I'm trying to gain weight, and I'm kind of new ish to counting calories. This is my breakfast from a local restaurant, I have this plus a 16 oz iced chocolate latte with whole milk. The oatmeal is also made with whole milk, and I drizzle honey all over it.

Fall schedule for transfer student

This might be my schedule for fall, I still can't register for classes yet since I'm a transfer student and they're all getting full so this might have to change. Is this a bad schedule? There seems to be pretty much no way to only have Mon Wed Fri as a schedule since the labs mostly fall on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I hope I can secure these times.

Internship outfit

I don't know if this is the right subreddit, but I want to wear something like this to my engineering internship. It's at a university and I mostly do CAD work. They haven't really said if there is a dress code. Last week I wore very formal clothes and I think I was too overdressed. Some people wear shorts and tshirts, and some show their shoulders. Most of the older women dress more formal, they are more management sided, but the other student engineers dress very casual. Professors also dress more formal. (This is not me in the photo)

How to enjoy the internship when the commute is long

I want to enjoy my internship but I am commuting via the train, and it takes up all of my day. I wake up at 5 or 6 am to catch the train and get home at 7-8pm and then have to go to bed for the next day. The internship part is great but the commute is ruining everything I can't enjoy any of my hobbies anymore and no gym either. They said it's okay to leave early or come in late, there are no strict times but no matter what with the train schedule I get home super late and have to leave early. I can't do much on the train either because it's constantly switching to different trains to catch the right one, so it's a stressful route.

Tough descision

I'm starting my full time internship next week and I really want to get the most out of it, it's my first real internship. I have a friend who's also from my college doing it too, so it's just the two of us working on this project. This week, our 8 week Differential Equations class started, and there were already like 6 homework assignments due yesterday (which I understand is quite normal for a summer class since I've taken shortened courses before). I'm worried that I won't be able to get the most out of my internship because of the diffeq class. For exams and quizzes we have to schedule them in a testing center which means it will cut into days for the internship since the testing center is only open during my internship hours. My friend who's in the internship with me is staying in the class, and I have a couple other friends doing the diffeq class while taking an internship. I believe both are doable... but I don't believe I can put my focus and best work into the internship while taking this class. Is it worth it trying to "get ahead" with this diffeq class or is it in my best interest to put my full focus into the internship.

TikTok alternatives

Hello! Over the years, I have had various tiktok accounts reaching 500k, 80k, etc, followers and it happens pretty quick. Now, I'm tired of using tiktok, it has been very invasive to my privacy and honestly seems kind of broken now (or at least not the same anymore). I'm really fed up with how invasive it has gotten. I do not tell it my location however it seems to know somehow? That's just one of my problems with it. Anyways, I also use instagram but it definitely does not push your content the same way TikTok does and the follower growth is slower (from my experience). Are there any other platforms that are great for content creators? Let me mention that the type of content I make is mostly cosplay, whether it's photoshoots or dancing videos, etc. I have seen other creators do well on Instagram but they have TikTok and I'm assuming most of their following comes from TikTok. Also, in past experience it's always great to branch out to multiple apps, I just haven't noticed other apps bringing me as much growth as TikTok does!

TLDR: Cosplay creator looking for TikTok alternative, already using Instagram.

Location knowledge

So how come I have my location off and have not told tik tok where I live, yet it still has a "local" feature and shows me videos from where I live? Isn't this invasive? It should not know if I didn't give it that info. I'm annoyed.

Soo.. where do we get fabric for cosplays now? I want to make a Malenia from Elden Ring cosplay, and I'll admit I am slightly beginner at sewing but I have a machine and I know how to hand sew pretty well. But where do we get fabric now that Joann's is gone? I feel weird about shopping online. I want to feel the fabric and I want to know the exact color! The Michaels and Hobby lobby near me really have nothing, I was thinking about going to goodwill and finding clothes and scrapping the fabric but it's not really a reliable amount. I tagged this as sewing because I don't want to be Dmed about buying stuff.
