Did my car (silver) leave these marks on the other car (gray) or is this a scam?
I came back to my parked car and the woman next me to claims I scratched her car when I was parking mine. I didnt hear my car scratching hers so Im not sure if it was mine. My car had a pre existing scratch when I hit my garage years ago. My garage siding is burgundy.
I exchange my insurance information but she didnt exchange her’s and said her’s was with her husband. I get a text from him providing the autoshop receipt. The autoshop said payment would have to be between me and him.
The auto shop receipt provided the personal address of the driver but the address was not on google maps or uber. An address appears if you reverse the first 2 numbers but the name on the address is withheld in whitepages and doesnt have google street level.
The receipt showed the cars license plate was from Texas and the incident happened in Virgina. The license plate matched the same make, model, and year as her car.
[US] Is this a possible car scratch scam?
To start off I parked my car in a supermarket and when I come back, a woman has accussed of scratching her car. I didnt think it was me because I didnt hear a scratch noise when I was parking. I took pictures and exchanged my insurance information. She said she didnt have hers with her and said that it was with her husband.
My car had a preexsiting scratch on the spot where it allegedly hit her car. The preexisting scratch was burgundy from my garage. Her car is dark gray, Modern Steel Metalli, and left a smear/scratch white. My car is silver and there was no blue marks on my car. I get a call from her husband saying they were going to get a quote from the autoshop for repairs and see if we can handle it outside of insurance or file a claim. ( I was afraid of my rates going up beyond the cost to repair. I have state farm)
A few days later, he sends a text with the quote and the cost is a little over $2,000. I go to the autoshop and they said they dont allow third party payments so the payment would have to occur between me and him.
I said I could pay once the bill is finalized and he says he's willing to sign a liabilty waiver form after payment. I felt concerned if it was a scam so I look up the address that was on the quote. The address doesnt appear in google or apple maps, or uber. The closest thing they provide is if I reverse the order of the first 2 numbers of the address. The names of resident is witheld on whitepages. The neighborhood doesnt have or allow a street view from google maps.
I looked the license plate number on the quote and says its from Texas, incident happened in Virginia. I tried doing a lookup and saw the Make , Model, and year on the quote. He gave me his zelle qr code once the job is complete. Is this a possible scam or not?
Looks like the "Surving being thrown into a body of water with heavy armor" technique is a Lannister family secret
Think my hair is too coarse and/or short for 360 waves
I brush the sides with more attention but the amount of hair looks like its a lost cause and its shorter there than the top. I use extra hard bristles, medium firm, then soft. I dont feel a pull on regular medium brushes after 3 weeks.
The top waves disappear when wolfing and only look better after a cut but disappear as my hair grows. Not sure why that is.
My hair texture might as well be 6c cause my hair is always dry after I take off my durag and haven’t found a moisturizer that helps. Closest if feels moisturized is using avocado oil but thats a roll on the dice on whether is moisturized or not after taking off my durag.
Not sure if there are tips to save it.
Any thoughts on the OG Diane 8119 replica
Anyone have any experience with this brush? Its suppose to be a replica of the og diane 8119 medium. Not sure if its medium or mmedium soft. I've only seen a few reviews on amazon but they dont specify the firmness.
How would you know if a product is frequently shipped damaged?
Amazon has the following conditions for item reviews:
Seller, order, or shipping feedback
We don't allow reviews or questions and answers that only focus on:
- Sellers and the Customer Service they provide
- Ordering issues and returns
- Shipping packaging
- Product condition and damage
- Shipping cost and speed
So if a seller sells defective items more than once, how would other customers know about this if amazon doessnt allows these issues to be listed in public reviews and only shown in seller feedback, which is not available to potential customers?
