Does an mp3 player with these qualities exist?
- good external speaker
- physical buttons + no touchscreen
- bluetooth capability
- storage of 128gb
- ability to create, modify, reorder, and shuffle playlists
- ability to download podcasts as well
- album art and lyrics? (not a dealbreaker if not)
I thought the hifi walker would work but unfortunately it doesn't have an external speaker :/
So I've been trying to figure out how to download podcasts to my computer. I figured out the whole rss link thing and that I need that and I was using jdownloader but it just had random titles for each episode that it downloaded. I'd rather not manually go through each episode to rename them. And gpodder wasn't downloading all the episodes from a podcast? Is there another application that's more user-friendly (I'm not very technologically advanced)? Mediahuman worked well for downloading songs, but it doesn't seem like it can download podcasts too. Any recommendations?
So my dumbphone 2 just arrived today and it went through a set-up where it showed me how to access the cursor but that was about it. It seems like there's a lot of features and shortcuts and ways to change things but I'm not sure how to figure any of it out. For example, I was randomly able to access Spotify from the storage app even though I didn't pay for the highest plan to get spotify, but I couldn't access podcasts that same way, and I was able to access the internet through a link I sent myself over messages but it didn't show as an app. I'm basically just wondering if any users put together a guide for the software and how to figure everything out and modify stuff. I'm a bit overwhelmed lmao
Hello! I want to switch to downloaded music over streaming services and I'd like to get some kind of mp3 player but I don't know where to start. I'd like it to not have a touch screen and I'd like for it to look like an ipod or be an ipod and I'd like it to have a good amount of storage. Also, the ability to create playlists/add titles for playlists and shuffle them would be great. Maybe even podcasts and audiobooks too?
Hi! I just ordered the dumbphone 2 yesterday and it looks like you have to continue subscribing to their (admittedly expensive) phone plan in order to be able to use their custom os, even after the four months has gone by that makes it technically "unlocked" and able to use other carriers.
Since it's just a heavily modified version of the tcl flip 2, does anyone know if you can just let it revert back to a regular tcl flip 2 after the four months is up and then just sideload the same apps and features (or close enough to the same apps) that the custom os has and save yourself having to pay for their phone plan? I have a verizon bundle and it doesn't really make sense to not use it for this. Would it be very difficult to modify it yourself or would it be doable with some research and trial and error?
I know it was just announced but does anyone know if the new light phone flips will also be able to be modified to add apps that it doesn't come with originally? Knowing this would really confirm my decision to preorder one.

Hello! I brought with me a book set in Italy and I think it would be very cool to be surrounded by the “vibe” of an Italian place while reading it. I’m looking for somewhere that has comfortable seating and lets you stay awhile :))
Right now, I’m only learning the language itself, not the culture or why some specific things are said over others or what slang is used when or what about the language only makes sense if one understands Italian culture.
Does anyone know where I can learn these more nuanced aspects? I think it would really enrich my learning.
As a side note, I’m also trying to find something that simply and understandably lists grammatical/spelling/pronunciation/conjugation rules about Italian so I can use heuristics instead of memorizing each individual phrase. Does anyone know where I can find that?
