Cause Radium dust.

For each uranium wine.glass. And they will sell.

Least when you expect it. Some one was using it for plant stuff. I found it glowing with the rest of plant stuff.

It's a 14' sconce with a 10' base. Couldn't ID it 100%.

The geiger counter hit 250 cpm's. So old n spicy.

Its the bottom to a butter dish I think. I highlighted the manufacturing marks. 3 again huh 😀

Its old and used by someone who didn't know. But look at that CPM. Uranium glass is mostly < 250 cpm.

You can use a DIY cloud chamber to see radiation! ☢️

Alex Dainis shows us how to use uranium glass beads, sometimes called Vaseline glass. Uranium acts as a colorant in the glass, and most of its radiation stays trapped inside. But isopropyl alcohol and dry ice can still reveal it. As the alcohol condenses, charged particles leave visible tracks. With the beads inside, there's noticeably more activity than in tests without them. However, it's hard to say how much of this activity comes from the beads versus background radiation like cosmic rays.

Had to share. The green glow is amazing.

I found this today in the wild. With gieger just right its one of the hottest things I own.

Its small and in really good condition.

It looks a lighter orange than my other orange pottery.

My geiger counter doesn't get much action but when it does.

And $3 whoa.

This little geiger counter has been great.

But the wheel toggle to do everything felt weak from the get go.

Now its just stuck in cpm.

But for I think about $70 its seemed worth it.

Before this guy stops working all together my heart is set on an alpha hound.
