Where to start

Ive really been into 3d printing as of late and been really curious about cnc to make pens and fidget toys and other odds and ends. What would be a good place to start with cnc. My target output would probably be stainless steel, bronze, copper and maybe even ti since im more interested in making the above-mentioned items. Ive seen the makera which seems super cool but pricey. Realistically speaking though i have no idea what a budget beginner machine would even look like for what id like to do. So yea any advice, recommendations or anecdotes are welcome

Help identifying movement

Buddy at work gave me this to mess around with and i think i bit off more than i can chew. Its an automatic gmt but i can seem to find what movement its a clone of so that i can find a data sheet and see what im doing wrong. The damn top plate wont go back on and i think i lost the click spring... 😭..any help is appreciated. Thanks

Pork shouldet burnt ends

This is my 3rd cook on my traeger pro 22. This is my first smoker and im super happy with these results. So far ive done ribs and a ribeye. What else do yall recommend i try (not ready for brisket yet..that shit is intimidating)

I was trying to find a maker for a slingshot i saw in a video....when i finally found the site i came across this style i havent seen before.. cant even find videos online of anyone using this... he has them listed as "Shooting Style: OTTF (Over-the-Top and Trough-the-Forks)"... any of yall ever use one of these?
