**Full Backstory:**

Dakota was born in one of the filthiest low-tier districts in Australia to low-tier parents. The organization Spectre came back more powerful than ever after it collapsed, and formed "Spectre X". This agency built a facility in Queensland, and had two goals: kill low-tiers, and take elite to high-tier children in order to do so.

Dakota was not quite elite, but his parents sold him off to Spectre X in exchange that their lives be spared. Dakota was taken into a facility and tortured daily as the higher-ups means to force him to use his ability. Spectre X extracted his aura, creating weapons from Dakota and other elite-high tier children they had taken in Australia. The potent abilities were turned into liquids with Soectre X tools and kept in syringes that would be inserted into low-tiers and kill then.

**How He Met Blyke:**

When Dakota joined Wellston Academy at the age of 17, he was given a guided tour by none other than Blyke, who, at the age of 19, is no longer on the run from authorities and was able to resume his classes, even if it means graduating a few years late.

Blyke and Dakota both had something in common: they enjoy THC. Yes. The legalization of recreationals is probably the only thing Dakota likes about being in America... aside from Blyke and Flamin' Hot Cheetos.

The two of them would spend lots of time together as smoking buddies, doing homework, and somewhere along the line, Dakota became interested in Blyke.

**The Scar On His Eye:**

His mother was unstable, and certainly did not know how to handle having a child with an ability since she never tapped into her own. Because of that, Dakota also never knew what his Potential could be. Abilities weren't discussed in their district, and when Dakota was around the age of 3 or 4, he accidentally caused a small kitchen fire from his ability.

Later on, he drew a picture of a dragon and showed it to his mother, who was cooking dinner. She got angry and threw the knife at him.

**Heart Tattoos:**

These actually represent himself and his two younger siblings: Lily-Rose, and Eli. When Dakota was 12, his younger brother was 6, and his younger sister was 4. They were both taken away and placed into the foster system unbeknownst to Dakota while he was under the surveillance of Spectre X facility. Upon seeing the state of their home, a search warrant had been placed, and it was deemed unfit for children. Lily-Rose has no recollection of either of her brothers.

Isen's parents being dead honestly is the only way I can possibly accept the scenes in which he's lazy, entitled, a procrastinator, a coward, or a straight-up prick, and I want to take the time to share specific examples throughout the series that support my theory.

Breaking John's hand.

This goes back to Season One when Isen confronts John to get information for Arlo. At first, he seems like an arrogant and entitled elite-tier; thinking he's better than his peers because he has a higher level. But what if it goes beyond this? What if he was this way because he lost his parents, and got taken in by family that showered him in gifts to make up for the dark void in his heart, leading him to believe he's owed much more than he is? He's also very rarely held accountable for anything, so he grew up a child that was provided with more than he could ever ask for and doesn't have to work very hard for a lot.

Remi needs help.

Next, when Remi expresses interest in being a vigilante, initially it seems like Isen is backing out of a lot due to being "responsible". Sure. But no, that's not it! From an outside perspective, it looks like Isen is a coward for not immediately jumping to Remi's rescue when she went to confront Volcan. Instead, he froze up and hesitated. Freezing up in certain situations is actually a common trauma response, and I think that Isen was having a flashback to his own parents getting killed by EMBER, which then made him panic and lose focus.

His overall reaction to Remi's desire to get into vigilantism says that he knows quite a bit about EMBER and their strength; yes, it's on the news. But he never brings it up himself; wouldn't the nosiest student in Wellston be all over an exciting topic like this?

EMBER'S second ability.

There's a few different theories that I've seen about where Flame Claw actually comes from, since it isn't ever stated. Demon Claw is a common one, but that doesn't make sense to extract since that ability maxes at an elite (correct me if I'm wrong). Flame Claw looks like a modified extension of Predator; it does not have the claw length of Demon Claw. I think it's possible that a high-tier ability (Predator) got extracted by EMBER and then modified. That organization would definitely have the tools to do so.

Isen's mother may have reached Predator, got killed by EMBER, and when Isen knew about this, he opted not to exceed an elite. Until the prison break arc, he seemed very laid-back and content to not expand upon Hunter very much. If he knew what it became, it could keep him from wanting to evolve along with many of his peers.

We never see anything about his family.

Every other one of the main six has a parent or family member mentioned, even if it's only briefly. Isen's is never brought up. He never brings them up, no one ever asks (sore subject?), and even checking the unOrdinary Wikia (for however reliable that is), it states he has "4 Unknown Relatives" whereas all the others have at least one parent or sibling mentioned.

Remi's shows as having a deceased brother. So if Isen's parents are dead, why wouldn't they be listed as deceased? Well, if EMBER killed them, it would have to be a cover-up. Without it being reported, that isn't something the Authorities would know about; it would cause an investigation. So, better to refrain from mentioning them at all.

His self-preservation.

Unlike most elites or high-tiers who are quick to jump to action, Isen spends most of the time staying on the sidelines. Something dangerous? Nope, he's out. This can get traced back to as little as not wanting to go for a casual hangout with Blyke and Remi when he could be doing something solitary and risk-free instead.

Of course, this is only a theory, but until uru confirms otherwise, Isen's parents are dead to me.

"Short" and "Shorter" have some world-building and description in addition to dialogue. "All Dialogue" is as stated, and is more text message style with no description of the environment.

Saiki K has a lot of characters, and they're okay, I guess. Nothing really special. But someone really makes the show infinitely better, and that's Toritsuka.

He gets way too much flack; I think it's disgusting how they all see him as a perv when, in actuality, he's just friendly and checking to see who's a ghost and who isn't. We, as a society, need to be more accepting and understanding towards his reasonable accommodation to touch others.

Every time he is on screen, I smile. There isn't a single thing to dislike about Toritsuka, right from the first episode he appears in. He's a sensitive, caring, helpful, and protective soul; I can't think of a single character that pulls the series together as flawlessly as Toritsuka does.

Confident. Powerful. Creative. Every positive term you can think of, I'll tell you in detail how Toritsuka matches that definition.
