Bohol Itinerary Check

I’m planning to go on a solo trip to Bohol next month and I’m thinking of doing this itinerary:

Day 1

- Arrive in Tagbilaran in the morning > Travel to Panglao > Hotel check in

- Snorkeling/DIY island activities - I’d like to do some snorkeling, but I checked Klook and most of the tours seem to be group activities. Maybe I’ll look more into DIY options instead, or if you have anything you’d recommend for solo travelers.

- Panglao Beach sunset + dinner/night stroll

How’s the nightlife around Panglao and how lively is it at night? I’m not into clubs or partying, but I do enjoy chill places with live bands/music. Do most cafes stay open that late?

Day 2

Klook Countryside tour (whole day)

Day 3

Open for recommendations before heading back to Cebu in the afternoon. Maybe there are still places around Panglao or Tagbilaran worth visiting.

Thanks!

My first solo trip

Went to Manila for the second time recently for an event, and it was my first time being really that far from my family doing everything on my own.

Before heading to the event, I did a solo food trip in Binondo, walked around MOA for the first time under extreme heat (changed outfits twice), and used the LRT-MRT on my way to Quezon.

It was also my first time staying in a hotel by myself, so of course had to take some mirror selfies. But the highlight was flying solo cuz i usually hold someone’s hand during takeoff, but this time it was just me gripping the armrest and blasting loud music lols.

This trip was basically just me, my sunscreen, Google Maps, stamina, romanticizing solo adventures ✨.. and a worried mother!!

Me 3 years ago would have never done this, but now I actually look forward to more solo trips maybe even spending my birthday alone this yr somewhere just to celebrate myself 🤍

With the ASEAN Summit being held in Cebu, I was just randomly thinking how beneficial it would be if ASEAN had something similar to the European Union where we could freely work and move around ASEAN countries. And ofc knowing Singapore as the richest, I doubt they’d even want to join us in this.

I know this is just theoretical but if an ASEAN Union ever happened, which ASEAN country would you work/live in and why?

Hello. How common are non teaching jobs in Taiwan schools for filipinos?

Taiwan has been my dream country to work in ever since I got to visit there as a tourist. It just feels like a sweet spot especially since it’s just near.

I do have teaching certificates, but teaching isn’t really for me, so been thinking of applying for non teaching roles instead. I don’t really hear much about filipinos getting these jobs, so im not sure how realistic it is.

Has anyone here worked in Taiwan in non teaching roles? Do they actually hire foreigners for these jobs and is the salary as competitive as teaching positions?

I haven’t finished my master’s degree yet, but I’m thinking of continuing if it helps with this path.

Would really appreciate any insights or experiences. Thank you!

My sister recommended Watson’s Silk Secrets, and so far it really helps straighten my hair so it’s no longer buhaghag. This is the next day after using it since I only use it about 2x a week. I also noticed my hair seems to be getting longer with this treatment, and I’m loving it because I want to keep my hair long now.

This is my first time using a hair treatment, and I’m not sure if it’s good in the long run. I also don’t want to do hair rebonding. With my hair condition in the current photos, are there better treatments I should use? And as a morena girlie with a warm undertone, what hair color would suit me? I’m just afraid hair dye might damage my hair, and I don’t want that.

Thanks!
