Should I Offer References?

I recently had an interview that went reasonably well. I applied via Indeed. I did print out more streamlined resumes and a reference list, but they already had my indeed resume in front of them so I didn't offer the other ones. I feel like I should have to stand out and be memorable.

Anyways, they said to email them if I have any further questions. I'm considering sending one inviting them to contact my volunteer coordinator (basically my current supervisor). However, I'm not sure if this would come across as motivated and invested in the position, or as an inconvenience the hiring manager.

Please advise

Derm says I'm fine, I'm still paranoid.

I saw a dermatologist for the second time. He said nothing I had left looked like molloscum. However, two lesions absolutely were. They looked off because they were in BOTE; those cores ejected a couple days after the appointment.

I have a bunch of tiny little specks that he says are nothing. I found something more suspicious in an area I wasnt checking closely. Frankly I wish he had examined me more thoroughly instead of solely relying on me to point out potential lesions, because I'm doing this alone and a hand mirror only gets you so far.

I also have a whitish bump with a hair coming out of it and a bit of a red ring around it. I want to believe that really isn't molloscum but I don't know. He seemed almost averse to looking closely at my genitals even though that was the epicenter of the infection.

He said not to take a bath for a month, so I guess if no new lesions for a month I'm okay? It's really hard to let my guard down about this. I'm not sure how to FEEL okay after living like this for 6 months.

Do I Have To Throw Away My Vibrators?

I am currently lesion free, as of today. Still waiting to see if any more show up.

I have a vibrator that I used on myself before I was diagnosed, and continued to use over my clothes during the course of my infection. A little tmi, but I squirt enough that it soaked through my underwear and that fluid is possibly a contaminant. I clean it every time with a standard over the counter toy cleaner.

Now that I'm nearing the end of this, I'm not sure if I feel safe with just that cleaner and am considering throwing it away and getting a new one when I'm officially cleared. With my living situation, boiling/dishwasher sanitize cycle is not an option. It is 100% soft silicone. Would the virus even live on it just in my drawer very long? Not sure what to do.

Does a market bag have to be lined if the yarn is stiff on its own?

I'm thinking about starting a market bag project. I would choose a pattern that is solid over mesh, and it would probably be made of Lily Sugar n Cream. It's really sturdy, with minimal stretch. Could I get away with not lining it? I don't own a sewing machine and my hand sewing is iffy.

Itching!

I have a small patch of lesions that have started heal, which is great, but my God the ITCHING. It's crazy. It isn't constant, and worst when I'm trying to sleep. They're pimple patched and covered with clothing but I'm worried about scratching the patches off in the night.

Does anyone have a tip for this?

Incompetent Trainer

I decided to get a personal trainer to really lock in and get snatched.

We did a body scan and took my measurements and weight. Can you BELIEVE he told me that my resting calorie consumption was 1480?!?! He said that if I literally laid in bed immobile all day long and that I would need 1480 calories to sustain my current weight. That's too much even for a cheat day, if I ate that much I'd blow right up. Reported him to the manager.

(/uj I really did get a personal trainer and they told me this. Really made the 1200 crowd that much more terrifying.)

Potential Barrer Customer Wants This

Why does only one of the black bats have ears? Why is there an extra stem going nowhere? How are things magically weightless? Why are the shadows like that? How do I say all that without being rude?

Crochet Items: The way the dangling decorations hang seems too perfect, the way the stitches melt into the appliques seems weird

Im negotiating possibly bartering crochet for hair services, she says she wants something like this. The hanging planter seems more suspicious. Why does one of the bats have ears and the others don't?? The other planters are more believable, there would be wire in the stems, but it still feels... Too perfect?

Lesions dying, still spreading?

So I got this in the beginning of March. About 2 months in, my body cleared the older, larger lesions but left me with dozens of micro lesions. I was finally able to find a dermatologist and got several cryo'd off about 1 month ago. More new lesions appeared, spread further than before. None of them have gotten big since my first batch.

Now a couple more have spit their cores out, and many are looking swollen and red like they're going to soon. This should mean the end is coming soon, but autoinnoculation is apparently still an issue.

Is this normal, or is something up with my immune system?

Slimy Cores?

I have had a few cores come out, either into pimple patches or by extraction. Usually they are solid, waxy, and easy enough to grab.

However some lesions have had this white, gooey, booger-texture stuff inside them that is almost impossible to tweeze out. These are the smaller lesions that I'm not sure are even molloscum.

Has anyone else had liquidy cores?

Got A Gift Card

I hadn't been to Starbucks in yearsss. But my cousin got me a gift card. I tried getting my old go-to, the pink drink.

It was so watery it didn't even feel like the same drink.

What is actually good here in the year of our Lord 2026?

Part Time Jobs That Won't Kick Me Off Disability

I'm on SSDI. I just graduated college, looking to get a job and finally get off benefits. Haven't worked in many years. The goal is a full time state work job, but I'm finding it hard to get noticed with so little work experience, and living off my benefits keeps getting harder.

I cannot exceed $1210 of income per month without triggering a trial work period that will eventually kick me off of disability. Without insurance, that's basically a death sentence. I need my medicine. I WANT to try and find a part time job for now to have more cash and gain experience, but my state has a really high minimum wage (and cost of living). I could only work up to 69 hours a month, which is very little.

Are there any jobs that would be likely to hire me for like 15 hours a week? I'm very hesitant to go back to food delivery with the current price of gas.

Unusual symptom, my providers can't explain it.

This post is a long shot but I'm desperate.

I have a lot of confirmed diagnoses that I am currently being treated for. Mainly mood and anxiety disorders, as well as 'probable' autism that I have been unable to find a specialist to get confirmation. I take a small mountain of medications for it, including an antipsychotic to try and suppress my extreme emotional states. It helps, but doesn't really make me 'normal' or asymptomatic. I've been to years and years of therapy. Mostly, I'm managing.

There is one thing that I experience that none of my providers have been able to explain. It's not a problem to be honest, it can be distressing but it is also often helpful. I do not believe it's anything supernatural, but the best way I can describe it as "visions". They are persistent, involuntary, and abstract representations of emotions my verbal, logical brain cannot express. They are metaphorical, not literal. The most common theme is repression, but they vary widely. Some are one-off, some recur or develop over the course of years. I have these representations of my past selves that live in my brain that talk to me sometimes, or they argue with each other. Sometimes they manifest as a distracting daydream that I sense internally. Sometimes they are translucent and superimposed over my vision. I can make them much stronger by smoking weed, and sometimes I do this intentionally if I feel like something is bothering me but I can't put my finger on it. I don't have the disorganized thought patterns or delusions associated with schizophrenia. I don't think they're REAL, but I do believe they exist to tell me something about myself. Think, interpreting dreams not "I have super powers". One ex boyfriend (who really liked taking hallucinogens) said it sounded like I was constantly microdosing lsd. A friend thinks it might be a rare form of synthetesia. They are a huge part of who I am as a person, and when I have lost access to them because I wasn't accepted by the people around me, I felt very hollow and not like myself. The doctors basically tell me that it doesn't match a diagnosis and that if it's not bothering me, just roll with it. Therapists basically tell me that if it helps me deal, don't look a gift horse in the mouth. My best guess is some kind of genetic predisposition towards intrusive thoughts combined with a high capacity for metaphorical thought and many years of therapy trying to understand and express myself through said metaphorical thought.

Have any of you ever had someone present this way? I want to believe I'm not the only one. I want to believe that someone somewhere understands what it's like to live with this. It's almost like an internal theology filled with symbolism and characters. Past selves, monsters that represent specific illnesses, images I can see but have to work to interpret. It's kind of psuedo-spiritual which is WEIRD because I'm an atheist who doesn't believe in crystals or horoscopes or anything of that sort. I would love to know if there's an explanation or a community or SOMETHING so that I'm not just... Alone. I don't think I'm crazy because I can easily distinguish the visions from reality and they seem to be just a rare neurodiversity of some kind. My loved ones accept me now. But I have never EVER encountered another person like me, and that's really lonely. Thanks if you read this far.

Got A Gift Card

I haven't been to a dutch bros in forever, but I got a gift card for graduation from a relative.

I stopped going because as I got older, the super-sweet taste lost it's appeal. I don't want to waste the gift card though, so I was wondering what's on the menu that is less sweet, or how best to order it less sweet. I have sensitivity to artificial sweeteners so those are a no-go.

Non-stop Spotting

For context, this has been going on for months but I have another more pressing health issue that's been drawing my attention. I kind of just realized now that something is up.

I don't usually spot between periods, or if I do it's minor and rarer. Lately I spot almost every day. Mostly it's brown, occasionally red, occasionally a yellowish color. Sometimes it's heavier than others, but never to the point of needing a pad. It's not an STI; because of the other issue I was tested and have not had sex since. I also occasionally get sharp, brief pains where my uterus is. I'm just always leaking something.

Is it something serious?

Self Freezing?

I finally got to see a dermatologist. They were hesitant to use cryo on me, but were willing when I was persistent.

The issue is that they can't see me again for 8 weeks. Is self applied liquid nitrogen useful in the meantime if I see something new pop up?

How To Weave Ends Into Granny Texture: Star Blankets, Cardigans, Etc.

I have a couple different projects that have either stalled or I've been too intimidated to start because of this issue.

I struggle with weaving in ends generally, but I just can't seem to get a grasp on it with "granny texture" things. The alternation of clusters and holes makes it really hard to find places where the yarn won't show or possibly wiggle out. With single crochet I just weave in as I go, but the gaps with granny things leaves the yarn really exposed in places. There must be a right way to do it, but I can't seem to figure it out

Trentinoin Disaster

I finally got my primary to give me a treatment for this. She gave me trentinoin, which actually has helped me clear up a couple lesions.

HOWEVER.

She did not give me any type of instructions on how to USE it. Just, use this, apply 2x a day to affected area until resolved printed on the box. So I applied it to the entire area that had had lesions. The AREA that was AFFECTED. They start out so small and almost invisible, I thought this would help make sure any little baby ones get taken out quickly. This went on until I noticed my skin was getting more irritated than I expected, so I tried going online to see if I was doing something wrong. Yeah, yeah I was because just applying a layer over the affected area can actually spread them FURTHER. I changed my application method and prayed. Just got a new one today, far from the remaining lesions, probably from the cream that was supposed to make me better. I should have done more research on my own because this woman was searching up treatments on her laptop right in front of me. She barely believed my previous diagnosis of molloscum from urgent care because I'm not a child. Just one step forward and three steps back, who knows how many new lesions I'm in for because of this. I have an actual dermatologist appointment next week so maybe they'll actually be helpful but at this point I'm not wasting my energy hoping.
