24F, looking to meet women

I had this great nerdy girls gang, where we would debate on all the topics under the moon while playing UNO. But now, most of us are married and our schedules are just not matching to hang out.

I am looking to meet women intellectually driven, not pretentious, with some parental trauma sprinkled around. Tell me about a poem you love, or how you repaired or fix something, or why you have a scar on your forehead, or about something you saw on your recent trip that has changed the way you view life. You get my idea.

I can come for a run, long walks, badminton or even dinner during weekday evenings. Hit me up!

i made cheesecake for the first time today!

I've been such a huge sucker for cheesecakes, and often splurge on them. Considering inflation costs, I looked up recipes on YT and my oh my, they weren't that complicated! Plus, I had some leftover paneer, I felt gutsy and made one in microwave. It turned out so good. I cried on the first bite. The money I could've saved and disappointments from shit places. 😭

The first day, it had the paneer's aftertaste but it reduced so much the next day. What should I try next? I used the classic New York style cheesecake recipe, just replaced cream cheese with paneer.

Recipe -

Ingredients

  1. 200g Malai paneer
  2. 120g sour cream
  3. 60ml heavy cream
  4. 2 eggs - I used Country/Nati
  5. 80g sugar
  6. 1 tsp vanilla bean paste
  7. 1 tbsp (8g) cornstarch
  8. Pinch of salt
  9. Lotus biscoff biscuits - 70g
  10. 40g melted butter (I weighed this)

Method

  • blend paneer, sour cream, and heavy cream until completely smooth. I used a hand blender, ensure you don't add air to the mixture since it may reduce the firmness of the cheesecake. we don't want a souffle after all.
  • add sugar, eggs, vanilla, cornstarch, salt and blend. brrrrrr
  • press biscuit + butter mixture into a 750 ml glass bowl and microwave 50 seconds, half power.
  • pour in the batter, leaving 1–2 cm at the top. Use leftover batter for a pancake.
  • microwave at 50–60% power for 3 min, then continue in 20–30 sec bursts until the edges are set and the centre still has a slight wobble. It took me 6 minutes in total. Some powerful microwaves can be faster.
  • let it rest in microwave for roughly 1 episode of your fav show (20 mins approx)
  • cool for an hour outside and let it sit in fridge overnight. I didnt wait, I dug in after 3 hours. 🙈

HR has scheduled a 1-1

I recently delivered a project in 1.5 months and I got recognised at my business unit level as well, 2 weeks back. Today, I get a meeting invite from HR asking me to create a 1 slider about myself and said they want to learn more about my role and the projects I'm in. My seniors (from different teams) said this is a good thing and not to worry. But my company is very manager driven, so I don't understand the intention or the outcome of this meeting. Excuse me if it's obvious, since I'm new to corporate with 2 YoE, idk how to interpret this.

My friend's behavior seems to have changed

I feel dismissed by my friend. I don't trust people easily but unfortunately i trusted her so much I shared a lot in a span of 8 months.

Now she has found other people that she likes. For eg, she and another common friend are hanging out and she didn't even invite me.

And also, my relationship with my parents are abusive but she didn't check in properly when they showed up unexpectedly. When I told her my parents came, thats when she was like oh yea! She went out the previous night and was just talking about that. Even after saying that you do not share notes, she sent for a while and now she doesn't.

I had an interview with the dean, but then she didn't ask about it and only asked when I said I wanted to talk about it.

Whenever I rant or smth she doesn't respond properly even tho I ask her to

But then she constantly talks about her org and i give her good emotional support. Like, even for the tiniest things i ask her how it went and everything. I don't feel the same response from her side. I am scared that i am overthinking but then my brother and sister say, she indeed doesn't treat me properly. She told my common friend that my brother does my assignments (not true, i was going through a tough time with my parents and was also sick, which is why I needed help) and that too, it was during the first semester. I felt dismissed, as if i am not capable or whatever.

Like eg yesterday, i had only slept for 3 hours because my roomate was sick and she had switched off the fan, and when I asked her what you think

She didn't say anything and just nodded. And she kept talking about the fact that she is going to play some game with her team mates and shit, and how should I arrange the team and everything. And also, despite knowing it's a joke that her leader or whatever was joking about scolding her, she just kept saying oh no what if i am scolded. She knows him well and shit. It just fuckin irritates me so much

Because of this entire thing, i didn't have the energy to go to college today. And she just asked everything alright? I said yes. And she didn't see nor reply.

Am I overthinking this entire thing? I don't have the energy to be this person. I am scared of ending this, but my brother and sister are like, isn't she already causing you distress? How is it fair for you?

So what do I do?

My friend's behavior seems to have changed

I don't know which subbreddit to post this as I feel people wont get it easily. And I feel much more safe here to share this and would really appreciate some advice.

I feel dismissed by my friend. I don't trust people easily but unfortunately i trusted her so much I shared a lot in a span of 8 months. She wasn't exactly like this before but recently I have been observing this.

Now she has found other people that she likes. For eg, she and another common friend are hanging out and she didn't even invite me.

And also, my relationship with my parents are abusive as my mom especially is a narcissist, but she didn't check in properly when they showed up unexpectedly. When I told her my parents came, thats when she was like oh yea! She went out the previous night and was just talking about that. Even after saying that you do not share notes, she sent for a while and now she doesn't. I feel like I am begging for it yk. Considering I only ask her for the notes done in class.

During the month of May, I lost all my data and asked her to resend all the question papers and notes that my seniors shared (in the group I added her into). She refused and said she deleted everything, which doesn't make sense.

I had an interview with the dean, but then she didn't ask about it and only asked when I said I wanted to talk about it.
