Does anyone see a Urologist for spasms in the bladder?

Good morning to my MS buddies. The only people that understand what we live with.

I saw a new Neurologist because his bio states - “...has an interest and expertise in Headache disorders, Migraines and Multiple Sclerosis.”

I mention that because he is sending me to other Drs to determine if issues I'm having are caused by MS.

Told him about the sudden urgency I feel to urinate. Sometimes I can't empty my bladder which requires many trips to the bathroom.

He said I'm having internal and external urethral sphincter spasms & temporarily put me on Oxybutynin CI 5mgs. He said I need to see a Urologist to determine if it's being caused by MS.

A few yrs ago I had optic neuritis. Now I have black dots in the same eye. These are different from the floaters everyone gets now & then because they are black dots. I keep thinking bugs are flying around me. They don't affect my eyesight but are almost constant & I have had them for 4 months. When I told my Neuro about it he said see an eye Dr.

My main question for you all is - has anyone seen a urologist for bladder issues only to find out it's MS & the Neuro gave you the correct Rx? I don't want to spend time & money going to another Dr that's not going to do anything different.

Thanks everyone. Have a great day - if that's possible with this awful disease.

Interview questions

Hello everyone. I have been an executive assistant for the same company for almost 24 years. It was sold and shut down so now I am a bit older and looking for a job. I have an interview for an executive assistant position and I don't even know what questions to ask anymore during the interview.

I know I'm going to be competing with younger candidates so if anyone has any suggestions as to how I can make myself stand out, I'd really appreciate it.

Thank you.

I watch too much true crime…

Saw a commercial for a home decor store. A lady was touching decorative pillows. I immediately thought, OMG your DNA is now on that & if that pillow is anywhere near a crime scene you could be investigated.

I think I need therapy.😂😂

Taking a breather on hubby's arm.

This guy came under our canopy & rested on my husband's arm for a few minutes. Just thought it was cool.

Butterfly or moth?

We have a few butterfly bushes so see several but never this type. It was in a tree outside my kitchen window. It flew away fast. Wizzed back and forth past the window then gone. I’m curious what it was.

Thank you!

What's this screw on my walker?

I've been using a walker for about 5 years & just noticed something. There's a screw on both sides that looks like it can be adjusted. Does anyone know what & why?

It's a regular Drive walker (model 10210-1).

I went through the Drive website & can't find any information.

Thanks everyone. Have a good day.

Ellie in culinary school...

Saw on the after show that she's in culinary school. I wonder if due to her time in BD, production will bring her back as a chef.

I would love to see how she behaves with actual authority & not just the authority that exists only in her head.

But I'm sure I would be highly annoyed & not able to watch more than maybe 2 episodes.

I also think bringing her on as a chef is an insult to all the other chefs that have yrs of experience to get there.

Would you watch if Ellie was the chef?

Does Baclofin help?

I had my 1st sciatica experience about 15 yrs ago. Had steroid injections & been pain free until a month ago. It came back bad.

I've been taking Baclofin 10mgs 3xs/day for a week & am still in major pain. Has it helped anyone?
