If you have a legitimate reason to sue they should be then they should be the ones paying for your legal fees.

There are so many corporations that can get away with being evil and breaking the law just because you would waste more money trying to fight them, than you would likely win.

I think that if you have what seems to at first be a credible story of wrongdoing and at very least some evidence to back it up that you shouldn't have to pay anything up front, then even if you lose maybe you pay a reduced amount of legal and court fees or maybe you still pay full fees but over time. If you instead have zero evidence and are clearly just wasting everyones time then yeah you can pay the full fees first if your still wanting to be seen in court.

But if you win? Then not only should you not have to pay up front, but you shouldn't pay at all the cost of going to courts, the legal fees or any other cost that occurred in order to bring about justice. Instead it should be added to their bill. The person being sued should have to pay for making it a legal battle in the first place.

Don't want to pay for someone else's legal fees? Don't make them have to bring you to court!

Protective slippers - do they exist?

Hi we have a dog who seems to practically target injured toes as shes always stepping on them. So maybe we need to start wearing slippers inside, they don't need to be water resistant etc they will never be taken outside and they don't need to last a life time or anything. But maybe have a harder exterior to protect toes?

They need to be comfy inside, and ideally breathable so that they don't get too sweaty.

Good shoe/slipper sub?

I've got a weird shoe/slipper request.

So my husband has recently begun developing bunions so his toes hurt. Our dog loves running right up to him and somehow always manages to land right on his sore toes. It might be best if he begins to wear slippers or similar indoors, we joked about steel capped slippers. But like actually? Maybe? Maybe not steel capped but maybe a slippers with a slightly harder exterior than other slippers? I figured that if anyone would know if such a thing exists i can probably ask some kind of shoe community on reddit and maybe someone there could give a good recommendation.

Historical figures should have magazine like blurbs.

Did you know that Pablo Picasso died in 1973? He would have watched Colour TV he would have been around for all of the 60s.

Did you know that Martin Luther King, if he were still around he would be 97? So would Anne Frank.

I think for those who die early but would still be around otherwise it would be good to see a "what if" blurb showing around what age would they be if they were still alive maybe something like what if they then took this path in life where would they most likely be? And then what? What would they most likely be doing?, to show contextually that hey this didn't actually happen that long ago and if they weren't killed unnaturally they would still be around maybe in a retirement village somewhere having done relatable things and living a relatable life.

For those that are still around, or those who died recently, it would be good to see some random facts about them in the modern world, for example (just making shit up) Picassos favorite TV Series was Zorro his favorite band was Pink Floyd, and his favorite restaurant was KFC or whatever.

Show people who read about historical figures that they are people just like you and I and that these people and events were still occurring relatively recently.

Instead of XYZ axises of Rotation use RWC

X axis means nothing.

Y axis means nothing.

Z axis means nothing.

And to make matters worse all axises of rotation can turn into each other to make it even harder to keep track of.

Announcing my R, W, C method, instead of arbitrary letters, each letter stands for a thing that has that rotation, and that typically keeps to that rotation axis.

R stands for roulette. It's the rotation of a flat disk on a table. In R rotation the line you are rotating around goes from up to down. Its the same rotation as a ballerina spinning on the spot.

W stands for wheels. When your in a car heading forwards, your wheels are on either side. They're rotating sideways to push your car forwards or baclwards. In W rotation the line you are rotating over goes from your left side to your right. It's the same rotation as if you tipped a barrel over and were rolling it up a hill. Or if you did flips or somersaults.

C stands for clock. Your standing face forward in front of the clock and the hands rotate around, flat on the wall in front of you. In C rotation the line that you are rotating around is from in front of you to behind you. It's the same rotation as a doorknob a cartwheel, or a steering wheel.

Now if you took a roulette wheel and lifted up the back of it, it would now be rotating on the clock axis. But usually a roulette wheel is flat on the table so it remains in the same R axis.

If you put the clock on a side wall so that it's no longer facing you then it will be rotating on the wheel axis, but you can't really read the time if you're not facing it, so when actively being used it stays on the C axis relevant to you.

Same for wheels if you turned your car so that it's sideways to a bystander that bystander would see the wheels as rotating on the C axis, but to the driver they pretty much stay to either side of you so remain for the most part in the W axis.

When fake scenarios rely heavily on you somehow just knowing what the unlikely outcome will be. How do I know that? How can i possibly be *certain* of it?

Like the trolley problem the train is going to kill 5 people but if you switch lanes it will only kill one. That's easy to imagine and the answer is obvious switch lanes.

Then it's changed, throw someone off a bridge to save the 5 lives.

THESE ARE NOT EQUAL.

If I had the first scenario happen I'd easily switch lanes but in the second how am I supposed to know that the one guy would actually stop the train? I just wouldn't you can't pretend that I have suddenly got all the information in the world and the confidence to know with 100% certainty that I'm right. How do i know with enough certainty to. Risk a life that im not just adding an additional death, now there's 6 dead instead of 5 greeeat. And if in this magical scenario an individual could stop the train why not me? Oh because they have to be heavy enough? Who says I have the strength to push them? If I've got that strength why can't I stop it myself or push a similar heavy object over?

Im not killing someone on a maybe! Oh I have a heavenly voice in my head confirming that it's safe? Why wouldn't I just think I'm having a psychotic break?

This is why the scenario breaks not because it's more personal or anything but because it's so outlandish that you can't possibly imagine having such certainty in a scenario where the outcome does not match what would happen in reality.

I have the same issue with those button questions push this button and a certain number of people will die or push this button and something else happens who is making me choose? how do I know with 100% certainty that I can trust what this psychopath is saying about these buttons? Maybe I won't choose maybe ill fight back, maybe i think he's lying and even if he says he won't he'll keep killing so I'll choose the other option.

you can't just say you know x will happen if there's no situation where I would possibly know that.

It just feels so wrong when people put a 2 year old that's got a full personality, who is walking, talking and playing in the same category as tiny drooling bundles, who can barely hold up their head and who don't even know that they have hands yet.
