I was interested in why the battery life was so poor for a seemingly simple device. It took a lot of forum digging and searching about how batteries work, but I think I have a good write up on why the battery for the VMU is how it is (along with some ways that you can prolong its battery life).

I've played around 14 games of the new Mayhem so far and the ability augments have either been completely useless (heal everytime you use Windwall, Chain Reaction Stand Aside, and Pin Cushion on literally anything) or completely broken (attack speed and range on Ambush or Overloaded on any mage).

The new surplus of augments have bloated the game and has made good/fun builds a lot harder to obtain, and has resulted in champions being prioritized over their augments unless high rolling. This update made the mode feel closer to regular ARAM, and as someone who didn't really play regular ARAM because it was kinda boring, I dislike the direction of this update.

These ability augments should of been play tested heavily before hand because some of them don't even work (from experience stacking Rengar Q for augments will not work if you use jumping Q, theres a full thread of problems people have already had with these new ability augments) and having the same changes on every champion will surely increase the gap in power between champions like there is in regular ARAM due to some champs being able to abuse it better than others. In the previous updates I felt that most champs were in line with everyone else with some exceptions like Ryze and Kench.

Also I've been seeing some of this in the comments to other posts; It's great if you're still having fun. I'm even having some fun, I wouldn't of played 14 games this update if i wasn't, but I still think this is a step in the wrong direction of the mode. If you care about the betterment of this mode and disagree, bring up counterpoints about what we're saying, please don't just write it off as "you just hate change".
