Hey queens, we have been getting a lot of modmails and confusion when people are banned so we have established a rule effective immediately that should make things clear upfront for everyone while also abiding by reddit TOS! Everyone is expected to read the subreddit rules before participating here.

Rule 12: Users with demonstrated homophobic/bigoted behavior, here or elsewhere, are not welcome and will be permanently banned. This includes participating in known homophobic/bigoted communities (Unfiltered, Queer Cringe, Tourist Cringe). Mods have discretion to ban users for homophobic/bigoted comments or participation in homophobic/bigoted spaces. Permanent bans may be appealed via modmail. Appeals are reviewed case by case and do not guarantee reversal.

Additionally, we have a bot that can flag this information and will know so playing dumb in modmail is not going to work.

We understand these communities are upsetting but please do not engage with them or feed the trolls. Do not interact with them and let's focus on our space and making it a welcoming and inclusive place.

Hey Queens, we have noticed a massive increase in brigading and abusive modmails in our subreddit from a few communities. We have protections in place that flag members from those homophobic places but lately it is getting difficult to discern who is a brigader.

Effective immediately, regardless of intentions all users who are flagged as showing they participate in homophobic communities (Unshowered, "Queer Cringe") will be permanently banned. Participating in those places is not conductive and also counts as brigading from our end. Thank you and please adhere to these rules.

Edit: We as mods are spending way too much time having to look at content in those hateful places to vet people from there. If you truly aren't a member there, you can delete your content there so it doesn't flag our system and send a modmail to appeal.
