I like skitty a normal amount

Not Delcatty, not Glameow, Skitty.
Want to complete a master set eventually. I have most of the holos so far, my chase card is the Kraze Club card right now. Also working on a Legend Maker reverse holo, and the other-numbered Yuka Morii cards that are hard to find.

I cannot figure out how to drift in AC

Hey all, so as the title says, I can't figure out how to drift in this game, at all. I have a Logitech G29 and I've adjusted my settings according to various Youtube videos and threads on here, using low-hp cars (have tried the E30 drift, e92 drift, Gravy E46 and S13 Silvia, a 180-hp 240SX mod, to name a few), and using maps like the default Drift track and the Skidpad mod. I can drift better IRL than I can in this game; I'm trying to learn to be better by playing AC in my free time rather than beating on my car... or spend a ton of money on event entry/tires etc. Aside from drifting I'm fine at the game; I'm mostly a track guy chasing lap times, but I've always wanted to drift.

The issue I'm running into is when I go to initiate, no matter speed, RPMs, gear, the car immediately spins out. I can't even hold a consistent donut without the car spinning. I don't have a handbrake so I just clutch kick to initiate, or allow the car to begin sliding on its own. When I go to countersteer, the car oversteers and sends me into a spin. If I reduce the amount of throttle, the car doesn't spin. I try to hold the throttle in the low-to-mid range, I'm not flooring it. Doesn't matter if I barely turn the wheel, give it a little bit, or try full lock; I just end up spinning out. Like I said, I've done this IRL with no problems, just in AC.

Is this a me problem? Settings? Hardware? I've double checked my settings against a bunch of videos and they seem to be set at the general consensus. Not sure if maybe it's a "I can't feel the weight transfer" sort of thing or if this is something a lot of noobs go through. I've probably been trying to practice around 5-7 hours with absolutely no progress. So far, the most progress I've made is slightly controlled figure 8's in the Gravy E46, but I find in that car it tends to go straight a lot even if the wheel is turned.

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated, I'm starting to doubt myself as a somewhat intermediate driver after a 2 hour session of doing nothing but spinning out, lol.

Tail of the Dragon!

Visited the Tail last week and bought a bunch of the pics. Can't wait to go again next year.

Nordschleife Z4 Coupe GT3 lap time

Been running this Z4 M coupe GT3 as I own an E85 Z4 in real life. Consistently have been running 6:55-7:00 and finally broke it this morning, 6:53.169. Stock setup, as far as just downloading the mod and running it as-is. This car is so fun, hoping I can tweak my driving because there is definitely room for improvement, aiming for closer to 6:30, 6:20 if I really practice. Just felt like posting because I'm proud of it, been at a wall for a couple weeks with this one :^)

Steel brake line leak

Brake went to the floor while driving today. Supposed to be going to the Tail of the Dragon in 2 days (17 hour drive for me). Anyone replace this before? It's the long steel brake line, leak is at about where the white clip is at. Trying to get an idea of how screwed I am, fortunately I have another car I can take to the Tail but this looks expensive. I can only find one parts diagram and it's not very good. TIA

Negotiation on a new Mustang

I'm looking into buying a new unsold Ford Mustang fastback Ecoboost, 2025 or 2026 MY. I see them listed everywhere from $31k up to $42k. Originally, I was going to go for the base model, but the leather seats in the Premium are a lot more appealing to me.

Now, I see many of these cars are "marked down" from MSRP as soon as they hit the lot. Realistically I'm trying to get my price as close to $30k as I can. I'm willing to travel anywhere, but I'd prefer to stay on the east coast as I'm planning on buying on my vacation to Florida in October, whether I buy it there or somewhere on my way back home (Maine).

If it helps, I have a 720 credit score and aim to put around $10k down, plan on financing - not interested in leasing. Say the car was listed for $33-34k... Could I reasonably get it down to $31k or less OTD?

Timing belt after 161k miles

If anyone was curious what the timing belt looks like after 161k miles and 12 years, here it is. Had the service done by RST Speedhaus in Sandown NH. Definitely due! I bought the car with 157k a few months ago and found out the service had never been done before.

[Product Request] My face is chronically dry, flaking, red and painful

Hi all, so I've (25M, if it matters) been fighting with the skin on my face and scalp nearly all my life. Namely, around my nose, pretty much anywhere hair grows on my head, around my earlobes. But lately, it's gotten really bad, to the point where it's constantly painful and super embarrassing.

Particularly the areas around my nose and between my eyes/eyebrows, I can moisturize, get rid of all the skin flakes, wash my face, etc. and it's flaking again within 10 minutes. It's always there and I can see it in my peripheral when I'm talking to people, and I'm getting self conscious. On top of that, my skin feels like it's burning all the time, which isn't helping the fact I need to wash my face in the bathroom a couple times an hour (when possible).

I work a blue collar trade where I'm exposed to shielding gases - namely a welder - but I've been doing this for years and it's never gotten this bad. I wash my face in the shower with a generic psoriasis soap and sometimes Dove face soap, and I usually shower twice a day. I moisturize my face using the Cerave psoriasis cream and my doctor has prescribed me a Ketoconazole 2% face cream, which was helping a lot for a while, but now it's getting worse again. I've also tried putting sunscreen on which helps sometimes but again the flaking is persisting through.

Is there anything I can do? My face is splotchy and as red as a tomato, it's embarrassing to even look at people. I feel like I look unclean. Is there any product I could try that really helps? Thank you!

Good touch up paint for Envy Green?

I have an envy green car and it's got some pretty significant rock chips in the hood, as well as the typical paint chipping on the back quarter where the wheel arch meets the rear bumper. Obviously the color is a pain to match, but I live in a place where rust will start killing the car if I don't paint the bare spots. Any recommendations for touch-up paint brands? Looking online I can't find much with any reviews. Thanks!

[PC][early 2010s] Horror game that begins on a train

Years ago I watched a playthrough by Pewdiepie of a horror survival game, I believe on PC, where the player begins on a train with a handful of people (I think some twins, a doctor, some others). It's first-person, 3D graphics, maybe a European location? This would've been around 2012-2013 but I'm not sure if the game was new at the time.

I don't remember exactly what the story's plot is, but I know the train either crashes or breaks down and you along with the other characters make a camp. Some sort of monster or entity starts killing people off and you pair up with a survivor trying to escape. At one point you're with a girl who gets thrown by the monster against a wall. At another point, you're with a guy who bends over to look at something and gets cut in half. I believe once you're on your own you have to sneak around so the monster doesn't hear you, but your phone rings or something to that extent.

My '14 FiST has code B10D8 and has this really annoying chime when I start it and it's pointing to a key issue. The dealership wants to charge an arm and a leg to diagnose, so I was considering trying to DIY the issue; potentially see if it has something to do with the key being programmed correctly. I don't own a laptop, only a desktop computer. Will Forscan lite be capable of dealing with something like this or will I need to scrounge up a laptop to try and fix it? Thanks!

Hey y'all, I bought a 2014 FiST yesterday, been great so far aside from a few relatively minor issues. The biggest one I can't find any info on. Basically, when I start the car - whether it's been sitting a while, or just after getting gas, etc. - for the first minute or two, it constantly flashes "Immobilizer malfunction, service immediately" on the screen. It sort of flashes on and off, like I don't have time to hit "ok" between it disappearing and reappearing again. It also comes along with the doo-doo-doo constantly during these couple of minutes which is incredibly irritating. It does not seem to affect anything about the car otherwise, and once a minute or two goes by, it stops doing it without me having to do anything.

I'm assuming that points to some sort of electrical fault, maybe the battery in the key or something? Was curious to see if anyone else had the same issue and knew how to resolve it. If it helps, the car's hood latch sensor isn't working either, which I plan on repairing; the car always has the "door ajar" light on the dash and the car doesn't beep when I lock it, likely for that reason.

Thanks for any info!
