Drove from Canada to North Dokata to pick up a pair of G1 Explorers on the weekend

We both have mountain bikes but we find the bikes overkill for a lot of the riding we do. Sometimes, we just want to ride some easier trails with portions paved. Flat bar gravel bikes seemed like the sweet spot for us and there’s nothing even close to the G1 available here in terms of value. The cheapest Norco is $1,500 Canadian!

Seems like we were lucky to find them in stock based on posts here. Mine will go nicely with my Ozark Trail Ridge I got 3 seasons ago.

Only rode it for about 15 minutes before work but it feels so fast and nimble. It’s very fun

Help identifying damaged 4-pin component near the 3.3V point/game-card-reader area

Hello,

I am looking for help identifying this part on a switch lite. During a botched picofly install, I appear to have cooked this component near the 3.3v capacitor (and knocked off the nearby capacitor). I am going to attempt to replace it if I can figure out what part I need.

There appears to be text on the component but mine is unreadable.

The console won’t power on and I think it’s because of this damage.

Thanks!

Having fun exploring clearance board games

Anybody else amazed at the quality of games that don’t seem to make it? I love shopping at liquidation centres. These place sell overstock of all kinds of items. One of the ones near me has a pretty solid board game section with games ranging from $3-9 Canadian dollars. I buy a lot of them because even if we only play them once or twice, we still get our money’s worth.

I play with a nearly 7 year old so I’m mostly shopping family weight games. We have played maybe a dozen of these clearance games and they’ve all been fun, with nice component quality and obviously a lot of care put into the design. I can find small things to nitpick about all of them but overall, they are great.

When I look up these games, there’s very little discussion about them. I think part of that is the family weight just generates less discussion but seeing as they are being liquidated, they probably didn’t sell very well to begin with. I know others have discussed over-saturation in the board game industry but I never realized how bad it was until I started playing these very competent games being sold at a huge discount.

We’ve been enjoying the following games (all less than $10 at liquidation stores): Key to the Kingdom, Kyoto No Neko, Downforce, Kingdom Run, Cosmic Race, Magic Market, and Zombie Kids Flashback.

So check out some of the less popular games you’ll find on clearance. I feel a little sad for the people that put these games together because the games might not have been as financially successful as they hoped but they are still great games that took a lot of effort to produce.
