Found my old player in storage today along with all my old MiniDiscs! I was so excited to listen to them again, but unfortunately my player is apparently no longer working.

At first it did not detect any discs at all, but after cleaning the lens off with a puff off compressed air and a little alcohol on a q-tip, its able to detect that there is a disc, but not actually read it.

Instead, it just seeks the playhead forward and backwards like this and then eventually the display just says “ERROR”

The disc itself is spinning and the read-head and gears move freely.

I’d really love to get this working again and would love advice!

Put some air in my tires yesterday when the warning light came on for my front left tire. Filled them all to 35PSI cold, drove around yesterday for about 30 mins, still didnt reset.

Numbers in post are from my drive into work this morning.

I made some physical terrain pieces for the [Lost Temple of the Monkey King](https://www.reddit.com/r/DnDBehindTheScreen/comments/b72ysc/adventure\_guide\_with\_maps\_lost\_temple\_of\_the/) module by

[Zatnikotel](https://www.reddit.com/user/Zatnikotel/). I found the adventure when googling for some Indiana Jones-esque stuff for my party to do while they travel through a dense jungle.

I made some changes to the structure of the dungeon just to fit the entire map on my table and I also added a boss fight at the end so that the party can get some extra EXP.

This is my first time doing a full dungeon's worth of terrain and I'm happy with how it came out! The majority of the terrain is made with recycled materials (packing styrofoam, cardboard from cereal boxes) or dollar-store foamcore, then painted with acrylic paints. The minis and monkey details were 3D printed in resin on my old ass Mars 2 Pro using files I found for free on various sites

I'm so hyped to run this module tomorrow for my players!

This is the first time I've tried to do an actual woodworking project more complex than "a box that has 5 sides and a lid"

I definitely learned a lot and this is not at all a guide on how to build another one. This is for me to share things I learned along the way.

I designed little clips to store bobbins with their matching spools

In my sewing cabinet I kept misplacing the wound bobbins because they did not fit onto the hooks that store the thread.

Printed these little clips that snap over the bobbin and let me hang them on the hooks.
