FedEx Delayed My Medication by 2 Days – Is It Still Safe to Use?

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping to get some advice.

My medication shipment was delayed by FedEx, and instead of arriving on time, it showed up two days late. When I opened the package, all of the ice packs had completely melted, and the medication was warm to the touch.

The shipment contains a 3-month supply, so I'm concerned about whether the delay and loss of refrigeration could have affected its effectiveness.

Has anyone experienced something similar? Did your medication still work, or did you have to request a replacement? Any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

I Never Believed in God Until I Met the Devil (My Experience With Addiction)

My Thoughts on Addiction, God, and the Devil

I never believed in God until I met the devil.

I don't believe the devil always appears with horns and fire. Sometimes he appears as addiction, despair, isolation, and self-destruction.

Addiction doesn't take your life all at once. First, it separates you from the people you love. Then it isolates you. It convinces you to lie, hide, and give up hope. Over time, it begins to steal your soul, and if left unchecked, it will eventually take your life.

For me, addiction felt like an evil presence. Whether others see it as a disease, a spiritual battle, or something else entirely, I know what it felt like. I felt trapped in darkness, disconnected from the people I loved and from the person I was meant to be.

I don't believe the devil only takes weak-minded people. I believe he looks for our weaknesses. Addiction was mine.

The devil doesn't need a weak mind, he only needs an open door.

Today, I believe both God and the devil exist within all of us. Every decision we make feeds one and starves the other. Our actions determine which one grows stronger.

My recovery taught me that no matter how dark the path becomes, there is always a way back. Every day, we choose who wins.

These are simply my personal thoughts and experiences after years of addiction and recovery. If you're struggling, know that there is a way back.

I recently wrote a book about my journey through addiction, recovery, and rebuilding my life:

Love my new stacatto but...

I absolutely love my Staccato, but I have one regret...

I really wish mine had the ported slide. I think they look so much better.

Unfortunately, the sales guy at the gun store put this one in my hands, and it was like finding a long-lost child. At that point, there was no way I was walking out without it. 😂

For those of you who own a ported Staccato, can you post some pictures?

I'm also curious whether the porting makes a noticeable difference in real-world shooting. Did you notice less recoil, faster follow-up shots, or improved accuracy? Or is it mostly an aesthetic upgrade?

Looking forward to hearing your experiences.

What's the value on reselling my stacatto in the used market?

Curious what everyone's experience has been with Staccato resale values.

When I first bought my Staccato, I honestly felt a little crazy spending that kind of money on a handgun. Most of the firearms I've owned, Glocks, Shields, and similar pistols, seem to take a pretty big hit on the used market as soon as you walk out the door with them.

After looking at recent used Staccato listings, though, it seems like they hold their value much better than most handguns. From what I've seen, many used Staccatos still sell for around 75–85% of their original value, depending on condition, upgrades, and the seller's situation.

Community discussions seem to support the idea that they generally retain value better than many polymer pistols, although they still depreciate and aren't really "investments.

I'm not saying they're immune to depreciation, but compared to many guns that can lose a significant portion of their value on the secondary market, the Staccato appears to hold up fairly well.

For those of you who have bought or sold one, what percentage of the original purchase price were you able to get back? Did your experience match what I'm seeing, or am I way off?

Also anyone use the upgrade option on the stacatto website to trade up?

Please Help me pray for my mom

Today my life changed

I went to see my mom and I found her disoriented unable to talk and move. I call 911 and got her to the hospital thinking and hoping she would get better.

After 8 hours in the ER doctors can't figure it out and it brakes my heart i can't help her. I begged the doctors to give her pain meds and they finally agreed but I had to leave.

I gave my mom a kiss and a hug and told her that I love her. I feel deep down she's not going to be okay.

Please help me pray that no matter the outcome my mom is no longer in pain.
