the anti ACC signs popping up all over pflugerville

if youve seen the big signs against pflugerville joining the ACC district just be aware

they are funded by the pflugerville residents for responsible taxation who gets the majority of their money from big time developers. they also have ties to a city councilman who not only has contributed to them but has also been paid by them.

Recall elections and flock

My suggestion. If any council member votes to approve a flock contract I suggest stating a recall drive to remove them. Under the law it takes 10% of eligible voters to get a recall on the ballot

the crescent nebula from pflugerville

ngc 6888 the crescent nebula. about 5000 light years away. the nebula is formed by the bright star near the center of the nebula. that is known as WR 136 and is whats called a wolf rayett star. a wolf rayet star is a very large star nearing the end of its life. as it neared the end of its life it shed its outer layers becoming a red dwarf. what was left is a star depleted of hydrogen and because its so large it is now fusing heavier elements. wold rayet stars have surface temps as high as 200,000 degrees kelvin compared to the suns 5700.

the star is emitting large amounts of gas in its stellar wind. teh stelalr wind moves very rapidly and is colliding with the slower moving gas ejected when it became a red giant. that creates the nebula

this is 40 hours of data from my backyard

a couple of groups of galaxies

NGC 7331 and a lot of other galaxies. the second photo has them circled and labled.
the galaxies in the top right are also known as the deer lick group, named after an observatory. the large one,NGC 7331 is about 50 million light years away. the smaller ones around it (sometimes called the fleas) are much much futher away,on teh order of 300-350 million light years.
in the bottom right is stephans quintet. these 5 are also on the ordr of 300 million LY away or so. That means that when light left these galaxies it was before there were dinosaurs on earth. The other very small galaxies are all on the same order of magnitude of distance,300-400M light years away.

a GOP candidate from south texas calls hitler his personal hero

Brandon Herrera is the trump endorsed GOP nominee for a district in south texas.
he called the guy who killed hitler his personal hero (hitler killed himself)
called himself an "honorary veteran"
refers to the kids of a gun control advocate as her cum trophies.

and when GOP congressmen are asked about it rather than answering they run away

ken paxton runs away rather than answer questions about fraud

"Will you answer a question about why you voted in Collin County?" asked the reporter. "Clear that up?"

Paxton shook his head with agitation, as his aide said, "So we're just going to do questions on law enforcement today, because we're joined with 22 amazing law enforcement officers."

Shortly after this, as another reporter tried to ask a question, the aide started waving her hand, saying, "We're going to get out of here. We're going to get out of here," as Paxton walked off the stage, leaving the sheriffs to stand around.
