Hume app has units and dates wrong for Americans
Dates are DD/MM and activity is in KM even though I have miles selected… so frustrating. This feels like a beta app.
Why market this to Americans if you don’t have the US units correct?

I still had about 11 days left in my trial, but I went ahead and subscribed! My YNAB subscription doesn’t end until March, but I’m already such a fan of Zero Sum.
I’ve posted a few questions in this subreddit, and I want to thank everyone for being so helpful. It’s amazing how far ahead of YNAB Zero Sum feels. YNAB has made some unnecessary UI changes, while Zero Sum offers many more useful features. I especially love the Overview tab!
A few issues I’ve encountered:
Syncing multiple budgets: After importing my data from YNAB, Zero Sum said everything was synced, but my original budget was actually working but not the imported on, why is this? I eventually figured out that I needed to delete the original budget, but the process was confusing.
Linking accounts on iPhone: After deleting the old budget, I tried linking my accounts again, but the iPhone keyboard blocked part of the screen where I couldn't select the account. I ended up completing the process on the website instead.
Apple Card support: It doesn’t appear that Apple Card is supported yet. It worked well with YNAB, and I loved how quickly those transactions were imported. Is Apple Card support planned, and if so, when might it be available?
I am in San Diego and moved from Seattle about 8 years ago! Grew up going to games at the kingdome and my twenties and early 30’s at Safeco.
I have MLB.tv through tmobile but i dont see this as an option to watch.
How do i stream this?
Update: Just went live!!
I get paid tomorrow, and the money is already in my account, I have several other accounts with cleared transactions and YNAB picks it up faster.
Zerosum hasn’t imported these transactions yet, from my understanding they both use plaid? Why is zero sum behind.
Keeping ynab until my subscription is done and still evaluating zero sum, i like zerosum a lot, and I receive my pay tomorrow, and the funds are already in my account; I have several other accounts with cleared transactions, and YNAB captures them more quickly. They are already clear and posted.
Zerosum has not imported these transactions yet; as I understand it, both platforms use Plaid. Why is Zerosum lagging?
I will keep YNAB until my subscription ends while continuing to evaluate Zerosum. I like Zerosum quite a bit, and I am most likely going to sign up. It’s the best YNAB alternative I have found.
When will loan accounts be able to be synced?
Its one of features i love about ynab
I wanted to share my experience because reading everyone else’s posts helped me decide to finally give Zepbound a try. First, I know I didn’t have as much weight to lose as many people here. But my BMI was over 30, I was carrying around 50 pounds of body fat, and I had completely lost control of my eating.
Before Zepbound
On June 1st, I stepped on the scale at 220 lbs, the heaviest I’ve ever been. Since 2019, I had basically lived between 210 and 216 pounds. I wasn’t just sitting around hoping to lose weight. I was:
- Hired personal trainers.
- Went to the gym consistently.
- Tried eating healthier over and over again.
For reference i am 5’11”.
I havent been under 200 since 2016. 10 years!
The problem wasn’t that I didn’t know how to lose weight.
The problem was my brain. I thought about food constantly. I’d do well for a few days, then I’d overeat. I could never seem to quiet the food noise long enough to stay consistent.
On June 11th, I called my primary care doctor.
He couldn’t get me in anytime soon and also warned me that insurance probably wouldn’t cover Zepbound.
Instead, I signed up with Ro using their free trial. Two days later I was approved, and I eventually purchased the full-year membership. I’ve also been using them for ED medication, and I’m planning to see what other services I can get from the membership.

Seeing a number that starts with “1” again honestly feels incredible. Yesterday I got pretty constipated, but I made sure to drink a lot more water and today everything worked itself out. Definitely a reminder that hydration matters on this medication.
A Few Things I’ve Learned:
I think my first 10 pounds were mostly water weight and the result of finally cleaning up my diet. Ironically, one of my biggest problems now is remembering to eat enough. I actually set reminders on my phone so I don’t skip meals.
I’ve also been trying different protein shakes. I bought a few from GNC and Vitamin Shoppe that honestly weren’t very good. I eventually found a whey protein at Costco that I like a lot more.
The Biggest Difference
For me, this isn’t really about the 21.5 pounds.
It’s about finally feeling like my brain is working with me instead of against me.
For years I blamed myself for lacking willpower. I spent money on trainers, gym memberships, and every attempt to “just eat less.”
Zepbound didn’t magically make me lose weight.
It made it possible for me to make the choices I already wanted to make because the constant thoughts about food finally quieted down.
That has been life-changing.
Starting weight: 220.0 lbs
Current weight: 198.5 lbs
Total lost: 21.5 lbs
I’m excited to keep going, but I’m also really grateful to finally feel like I have control again.
I start 7.5MG on august 12th!
I don’t like how proton emails my very old email to check my email, seems like it isn’t as private, how do you turn them off?
I recently switched from Microsoft Edge to Zen Browser on my M1 MacBook Pro. I had been using Edge because it was slightly faster than Chrome, and the company I work for relies heavily on Google Workspace apps.
I ran into an issue that I'm hoping you can explain. Last night, I closed my MacBook with Proton VPN Firefox extension connected. When I opened it this morning, Zen Browser wouldn't load any websites. I opened Safari, and it worked fine. Then I remembered the VPN was still on.
It seems like Proton VPN didn't properly reconnect after my Mac woke from sleep. The only way I could get everything working again was to disconnect the VPN and reconnect it manually.
I'm probably going to switch to using the native macOS Proton VPN app going forward, but I wanted to mention this issue in case it's a known problem or if there's a recommended fix.
I have been getting my meds for the past 3 years from Good Rx. Now I can't figure out how to do the telehealth and just get my prescription? Did they get rid of this option? It was pretty cheap, $45 for the visit and $20 for 30 pills at 20MG and this would last me about 6 months to 1 year.
Any help is appreciated. I don't want to do a suscription becasue it is like $54 per month for 8 pills only.
