I recently upgraded to a bike computer that has the feature and was wondering if people actually use it or if it is more of a gimmick

I'm doing the stp in 8 days and I was looking at getting a better bike computer before the ride. I currently have the Edge 130 but I'm not sure the battery life will last the whole ride so i was looking at an 540 on fb marketplace for 225$ with an Magicshine EVO 1700. Is this a good deal should I buy it?

I was thinking about building or buying a drone but I was unsure of if I should buy a whoop or just go for it with a quad. The only reason I’m asking this is because I already have experience with flying a quad that I built and competed with in tsa (technology student association) we had to build an open source drone and fly it though a pvc obstacle course to pick up safari animals in cages as well as ones just on their own with a claw that we built. We also had to show judges we could see hidden targets using a camera on the drone
