(Ik im a bit late and it’s a non airing day but anyway there were 0 posts abt this so i hope this post can be excused 🥺)

I love how real and natural their marraige progression feels.. there’s no unnecessary masle or sacrifices stuff, just two ppl who got married putting in their side of efforts to some extent, and their personalities just clicking!!

It kinda reminds me of early kmkt marriage episodes, with cutesy scenes and chemistry, glances, and I love just how FRESH their chemistry feels!! Tho it’s mahrukh taking the lead, I like how saife listens to her normally, and how she’s helping him discover himself it’s all just soo cute and nice to watch🥹🥹 🤍also love to see mahrukhs playful and excited side coming back! They def have started developing feelings for eo

Ali and Anika both are acting soo well here and hv such crackling chemistry!not to mention just how gorgeous they look

The beach scene was just sooo beautiful, after a long time some drama is making me want to experience romance😭

Also love how saife isn’t completely dumb and can join the dots to figure out the yt channel is run by mahrukh, and ofc he’s surprised and maybe upset, but more like he doesn’t know how to react or proceed.. im glad tho he’ll be back to normal next week and now navigate their lives knowing everything abt each other🥹

The side tracks are okayish,, the actors are acting well..Hira annoys me at times but I totally get her character, she gave her everything to the ppl in her life obediently and was the ideal child, yet mahrukh who was more of a rebel is getting more love and attention.. but I hope they don’t show it as a sister rivalry 🙏

And Adnan’s characters gave me hella creeps😭 tbh I don’t get why there hv to be sooo many tracks in Pakistani dramas, 2 behno ka kaafi tha 🙏

Overall, im enjoying it now! It’s a nice lighthearted romance watch.. I just hope it only rises from this point and focuses more on the couple

Idrc abt hamza offscreen but I genuinely think that currently he’s the best lead actor acting wise alone, and I’d been waiting for his comeback since forever BUT IT HAD TO BE W HINA AFRIDI IF ALL PPL? HELL ID EVEN TAKE SAHAR HASHMI OR ANYONE ELSE OVER HER🙏🙏

Faraar was such a brilliant drama btw, tho it was Netflix level and not for PTV ofc ppl didn’t do the drama justice w views🙏 batish might be his best performance honestly and I remember during farraar times I was kinda mad why the actress paired w him is mamya but now even she seems golden in front of hina😭😭🙏

Recently Faiza iftikhar has been on a roll on X and it was fine in the beginning, but she’s genuinely getting involved in the Stan wars and honestly these tweets are so hella disappointing and cocky from her, I expected better.. seems like she graduated from mayas school of thought on criticism and feedback

I’ve been a fan of her writing…Defending ur writing and characters are one thing, I was kinda w her on defending khushbakht even tho the direction makes the drama make little sense , and also w her on the criticising rind thing … but this is taking ur defence waayy too far and neglecting feedback is such a rude look for a writer.. apparently any feedback/criticism= pitiable and hum sab pagal hain 😝

Also I’ve genuinely been excited for mdb but she’s promoting it in such a condescending way that it’s offputting,, she seems soo full of her writing and arrogant.. and yes Faiza, making the audience confused is not the flex that u think it is🥹🥹

Anyway I hope mdb atleast stands up to what she’s presenting her writing as…

The episode beginning was good w the sb rabiya scene, tho I was genuinely like why the actual hell did he not resist on this when he did on the nikah w gulmeher?? But okay..

I liked the mudasir flashback because I actually feel for his character and their story.. bano track was handled sooo poorly tho my head was aching

Avg bi jaan scene no 1.. I liked sb clocking sohrab

Shireen and sohrab scenes were pretty good..

BUT THEN CAME THE IDK 10 15 MIN SB AND BI JAAN SCENE, PRACTICALLY SUMMARIZING THE DRAMA AS IF THE PACE WOULDVE MADE US FORGET STUFF😭 BI JAAN SCENES GENUINELY FEEL LIKE THEYRE IN 0.025X LIKE OMG?? KITNA TIME DE RKHA HAI BI JAAN KO? I WAS GENUINELY WAITING FIR THIS SCENE TO END BUT HO HI NHI RHA THA KHATAM?

THEY LEFT TOTAL 6 MINS IN THE END TO THE NIKKAH

US KE BAAD EK AUR BI JAAN SCENE LIKE PLS MUJH PE REHM KARO BI JAAN 💔 AND SHE KEEPS REPEATING THE SAME STUFF OMG WE GET IT EK BAAR MEIN WERE NOT SLOW

Anyway sajal looked breathtaking as the bride, blue us my fav color and she looked like a princess.. the only thing I reaaalllyy liked in this episode pretty much..

This week I decided to give preference to bombay tailors over ama from my mental health sake and I kinda prefer this, the drama is nothing too unique but atleast it's not ragebaiting me and I like the leads track so ig this is gonna be my mon-tue watch now

the main story has just started now.. It's a decent watch imo, I was smiling at the saife mahrukh scenes throughout!

I liked how saife and mahrukh actually communicate w each other, yes they're taking time to completely open up, particularly mahrukh ,saife ne toh puri life history suna di😭 but it makes sense ... despite being forced into the marriage they're both trying to understand eo and make it work which was nice.. they seem to be developing a soft corner for eo.. and honestly they both complement their personalities soo well, it'll be fun to see their relationship progress!

I genuinely watched all the family stuff on 2x🙏 it's treatment will take a slightly different from routine route in the upcoming episodes, but rn it's basic and annoying, pretty much what I expected ... some scenes from time to time are nice tho.. I felt a lil bad for mahrukhs father when she was unwilling to come for the operation but then again he's dheet too and still implied that his decision was correct.. I liked mahrukhs response despite it being a bit rude, but she acknowledges it too.. I'm glad they didn't kill off the father and there's scope for some character development there

Dania enwer and ali safinas couple is different but I'm liking their dynamic, I particularly liked the question dania posed 'mohabbat ka matlab baat maanna hota hai ya baat manwana? ' , and her breakdown was completely understandable.. dania is such a nice actress tbh I think she has potential

It's gonna be fun seeing mahrukh and saifes relationship progress and how they work together towards their ambitions! Ali and anika hv great chemistry and I loved their natural and realistic dynamic in this episode 🥹 I'm liking ali but I felt anika was a bit off in some scenes.. she looked so gorgeous tho

also I hope we actually see mahrukhs father reflecting on her words and I really wish to see him develop by the end🙏 saifes father toh rn seems completely ummovable , but let's see..

Overall, the drama is interesting.. the family stuff sometimes gets typical so I watch it on 2x, I hope they increase the pacing a bit, or just give more screentime to the leads.. it's a decent light hearted watch !

Honestly Nameer has strong expression game, I love his acting in scenes Jahan is ko apna mu band rkhna ho.. it’s his dialogue delivery which is the main drawback🙏🙏 it’s nearly as bad as dures in this drama , even worse tbh😭 but in scenes where he doesn’t hv dialogue and just has to express anxiety and some mental behaviour, he’s really good

Also does him saying he’s seen abubakar before have some significance ? Abubakar seems kinda shady ngl😭 saw someone say zaamil is not being just insecure, abubakar has strong eyes on zaryab and he feels it,, and that sounded kinda right.. what’re ur thoughts???

It looks kinda interesting,,, I might be willing to watch depending on the upcoming teasers..

The location and vibes seem nice honestly..Danny and Komal both seemed decent in this teaser, a fresh pairing and I think think look good tgr!

but im kinda tired of avg ptv fl father story now😭 maybe there’s some difference here tho so im waiting for more teasers

Also im SUPER apprehensive abt green tv, ive hardly been enjoying green dramas and they almost always fall off after great premises, but let’s see..

edit- the writer and director are radain shah (mzht, aakhir Kab tak, leader) and shahid shafaat (tau dil ka kya hua, dil mom ka diya, mgm, duniyapur) resp..

I’d kinda left it after episode 1 cuz it was a bit slow paced, and I was basically watching just for the leads track cuz I think it might be a bit interesting.. continued from ep 7 directly now, and it seems like the show is picking up..

it’s nothing too out of the box, but I honestly really like Ali and Anika together, and their romance track seems pretty nice.. it’s the usual stuff almost but im liking the treatment ,, the main track seems a bit different.. it’s gonna be interesting to see how they support each others ambitions while everyone was against them..

The supporting cast doesn’t hurt that much either, I just forward anikas family scenes.. alis family is wayy better, and Ali safina and danias couple is pretty sweet too and has potential

Overall, I think it might be getting decent now and I would much rather watch this over ama as my Monday Tuesday watch I think..

The ost video for alvida alvida is sooo damn intriguing, esp this part! It’s gonna be a dream most probably but I hope that it’s atleast included in some way!

Sherry dure have great chemistry, honestly a bit better than I even expected.. namuree on the other hand really disappointed😭 they’re avg nibba nibbi, my thoughts on them might change after the breakup tho, which I hope happens asap

Nameer durre look gorg individually but I don’t really see that crazy chemistry bw them, also their arc doesn’t excite me THAT much.. ngl I lowk thought Nameer looked better w romaisa in that tiny glimpse of teaser 3

Honestly I’m soo excited, it’s mahiras comeback project and her script choice is usually v good.. wahaj mahira seemed to hv greaatt chemistry in that commercial they did!! There’s also Junaid khan, Noor ul Hassan, Amar khan and hina afridi(not super excited abt the latter too but yeah 😭) ..

The drama is a period drama and apparently has some lovers to enemies and revenge trope, it’s not 100% confirmed ig but this is what’s been going abt the story for now!

Kinda loving the drama tho actually.. will drop the review soon after completing 4 more episodes
