The magnesium label mistake I see all the time
One of the biggest magnesium mistakes online is comparing the big “magnesium glycinate” number instead of the elemental magnesium number.
A label might say something like:
- 1,000 mg magnesium glycinate
- but only around 100–140 mg elemental magnesium
Those are not the same thing.
The elemental magnesium amount is the number that actually matters for dose comparisons. Honestly, I think a lot of “is this dose too high?” confusion starts right there.
