I came across an old navy cannon that still works. The guy said its from the civil war.

I could use some help identifying this cannon and figuring out what its worth. Firing it gave me goosebumps.

My waste oil burning furnace design

Thought i would post a few pics of my new furnace design. It runs on a 12 volt car battery and burns used motor oil. It produces zero smoke even when first lit because i made a special vortex blast tube that creates a cyclone of airflow inside the combustion chamber. It is an airtight heat exchanger design so that ALL EMISSIONS AND CUMBUSTION FUMES go out the exhaust that would be connected to a double walled flue pipe and routed through the wall like a wood stove then upward past the ridge line. All the heated air comes from the space between the combustion chamber and the outer casing. A single 12 volt bilge blower feeds both the combustion and the heat exchanger and it will run for 36 hours on a single fully charged car battery between charges, and produce 40,000 btus of heat per hour. Its very heavy built weighing more than 200 lbs and the size of and end table with a lamp on it.

Im open to criticism and advice from anyone its how i learn. Fire away guys and gals! I dont know if this matters but im an aws certified welder and supervise a large welding shop. I made this out of drops. Thankyou for your interest

My waste oil burning furnace design

This is an airtight heat exchanger design that sends all fumes and gasses out the exhaust which would be connected to a flue pipe that goes through the wall of the structure and upward past the ridgeline like a wood stove. The heated air comes from the outside of the combustion chamber between the two walls. Im open to advice and criticism from some real redneck engineers. Fire away! I built this out of scrap metal from the fab shop i supervise. Im an AWS certified welder and i grew up in diesel shops that had waste oil heaters running in winter time. This is the only one ive ever seen that produces zero smoke.

Every prepper should have one of these

This is my new waste oil heater design. It runs on used motor oil and a car battery and puts out 40,000 btus of heated air. Its a double walled heat exchanger design with an airtight combustion chamber. ALL FUMES AND GASSES go out the exhaust on the right which would be connected to a flue pipe. It will run 36 hours on a single fully charged car battery between charges. Im open to suggestions and criticism. Its how i learn. Fire away
