Pride mani #3 for the month...bi flag style!
I fixed my Litter Robot 4 all by myself!
I purchased my Litter Robot late last year and it is, hands down, one of the best purchases I've ever made. I owned (and threw away) two off-brand auto litter boxes before this, both of which broke prematurely. In retrospect, I should have just gone with the LR in the first place!
Anyway, I happened to drop the robot while moving last month. It worked fine, but the bonnet cracked slightly. Then I began having an issue with the rubber liner pulling away from the unit, causing litter to gather UNDERNEATH it/inside. I got connected with the chat feature on their website, and shortly thereafter, I had both replacement parts on their way to me, compliments of the one-year warranty. Yay!
After I had received both parts and an e-mail with detailed instructions on how to replace the liner, my trusty screwdriver and I got to work. I was anxious about taking the entire machine apart, but lo and behold, I successfully fixed the liner and put it all back together. AND IT STILL WORKS! I am feeling like a bit of a badass right now and I had to share with people who would understand, lol. THANKS FOR READING!
