There hasn't been a driver/mix control update in some time. Is it abandoned?
If I have to reinstall the drivers and focusrite mix control panel just to get rid of the "no hardware connected" message -- I'm gonna punt the fawking thing into a wall...
It's really connected and working, plays music/wavs, recording music in DAW, etc etc;
I just can't change any routing, inputs, etc in mix control until I reinstall the damn thing again
Reboots don't help, different USB ports don't help. Just reinstalling works. Tried resetting the service(s) in activity manager, per previous Redditor suggestion.

If you've ever wondered how much a location in Stonestown pays to the mall for rent, the entire lease is included in the court filing.
You don't usually see this kind of peek behind the curtain. It also gives a semi-recent reference point for what commercial rents are like on the West Side, as Tacomania started the current lease in May 2025.
Looks like there is a minimum rent, plus utilities, plus 10% of sales if I'm reading it right. For Tacomania, the estimated rent was $17,300 per month.
Add employee costs, ingredient costs, advertising, etc. and just running a basic mall restaurant gets expensive quickly.
As for the mall, as long as the storefronts are rented out, they're pulling in a decent amount of revenue each month. Makes you wonder how SF Centre failed.

As a longtime fan of Vaporwave culture and music, I wanted to do this project differently by creating everything from scratch rather than sampling an existing song. To do that, I recorded original performances on my Yamaha DX7 and electric guitar, produced the track from the ground up, and then transformed it into a Vaporwave. When I played it for a friend, he said it reminded him of classical "Weather Channel" music, which inspired the title, "Local Forecast." This project was created purely out of a love for the genre. I just wanted to share something original with people who appreciate Vaporwave. Much love!

I'm such a sucker for anything Juno and love love love their chorus. There's a free one built into FL studio, but this big post has a normally paid free option and some always free alternatives.
Chorus is very 80s sounding and thickens up stuff so we'll, this one particular
18i8 3rd generation Scarlett. Sound continues to work fine (like it's obviously connected, working) but the mix control app keeps registering hardware not found, unless I reboot or sometimes have to reinstall. It's maddening.
Any chance there's an update or fix to the Gen 3 driver's/software for mac M4 coming?

Are there any good Vapor wave drum loop packs around ? I am good making the music just not the drums so much. I pitch down drum loops I use and that somewhat gets the sound I’m after but I know compression and reverb and EQ is also required. I would prefer to just use some loops that have the sound. Windows 96/Home/Voyage is the type of sound I’m after… but something that actually cuts through the mix.
