Gen5 Homegoods find
Went to home goods just for a bottle of avocado oil and next thing you know I’m leaving with a brand new Gen5 Detect. Even our local Costco doesn’t have a deal this good. 😭

Order Cancelled out of nowhere?
Ordered a set of mats for the front, rear, and trunk mats yesterday. Received a cancellation email from their end with no explanation. Is it due to tariffs? Supply issues? Would’ve been great to at least been given an explanation 😭

Foreign Passport Renewal - Maiden Name?
My wife’s green card was just approved (yay!). However, her Ukrainian passport expires in April. We are married and she took my last name. We were planning on doing a passport renewal at the Ukrainian Embassy near us but turns out we are unable to renew her passport within the US with her new last name as Ukraine’s International Passport takes the name listed on their “Internal Passport.”
The only way to change her name for that Internal passport is to process it while IN Ukraine, or by flying to a satellite location in a few countries (Canada, Poland, etc). Is that our only option at this point?
OR
Renew her passport under her maiden name at our local embassy and when the war ends, change everything in one visit to Ukraine? Will this passport renewal under her maiden name cause any issues downstream when we file to remove conditions from her conditional green card? This seems like the fastest option considering her passport expires in 5 months…

PHEV MPG?
Moved from a Tesla Model 3 performance to a 2026 PHEV Limited. I miss the Tesla but adding my wife to the insurance as a new driver was EXPENSIVE. Switched to the Tucson and ended up adding her on with our extra car and I’m still saving a few bucks a month.
Anywho - is 38 MPG combined without having a fully charged battery the sweet spot? Took a 100 mile one way trip tonight and was going up/down some steep grades and freeway driving between 75-80 mpg. Overall, glad I went to the PHEV over my original CX-50 turbo choice.
Is it better to drive in AUTO mode or HEV mode?

Anyone in the SF Bay Area?
Anyone local to the SF Bay? More specifically east Bay Area? I planted some cacti/succulents in my small backyard retaining wall a year and a half ago and have received some large growth. I will eventually need to trim and will allow some folks to hopefully propagate some of the trimmings if I don’t repot all of them and wanted to potentially give some away!
