Hi, I just wanted to make sure I understand what I'm doing. This is the first time I am buying a used gun.

I've been on the hunt for a particular gun and found one on caguns website. I've been talking to the owner and haggling. Once we hammer out a price...

He was insisting on using his preferred FFL, should that be a concern ? I know how the process works at Turner's not sure where he would want to go?

Do I basically meet him / her at the FFL ? How / where should I inspect the pistol ?

He hands the pistol to the FFL and I DROS it like usual?

When do I / should I hand him the cash ?

Can he go back and cancel the DROS and walk away with the gun and the cash ?

What if something goes wrong with the DROS process, do I lose the gun and the cash ?

Any words of wisdom would be sincerely appreciated 🙏.

Hi, I dug up an old LG NAS out of the garage I had forgot about. I finally remembered the password. I've set it up on my LAN. However, on my Mac I go to GO > CONNECT TO SERVER > (CLICK BROWSE): I see the LG-NAS, however when I try to log in, I get an error.

It says "There was a problem connecting to the server "192.168.7.87".

The version of the server you are trying to connect to is not supported. Please contact your system administrator to resolve the problem.".

In the connect to server box it has "afp://192.168.7.87". I've tried swapping the afp to smb and even FTP but no dice.

I can manually go to the IP address in my browser and I connect to the web interface for the NAS and everything seems to be fine. I remember seeing somewhere that apple maybe closing support for the afp protocol. Any ideas ?

Hello all, maybe someone can help me or point me in the right direction. I was cleaning out our garage and found our old LG NAS n2b1. I plugged it in and it powers up fine, but I totally forgot the password. Is there any way to reset the admin password or retrieve it ? I searched online high and low. I was able to download a copy of the manual and it says "In the event of the administrator forgetting the password, restoration is impossible. Hence safeguard the password. " Ok, forget restoration, lets start over, it does not say how to reset the device.

4/6/2026. Received OK to submit fingerprints.

4/14/2026 Completed Livescan

4/21/2026 Completed in person Interview.

4/22/2026 My 3 references were contacted.

5/7/2026 Given OK to take 16-Hour class

6/14/2026 Completed 16 hour class.

6/14/2026. Submitted Class completion certificate.

6/18/2026 Approved for CCW

6/23/2026. Picked Up CCW.

As you can see I delayed the process by waiting almost 5 weeks to take the class. My work schedule just wouldn't cooperate. 85 Days start to finish, other wise the whole process could have been done in about 50 days.

During the 16 hour class we were offered certification for the AZ CCW. Here is the information for that:

6/18/2026 Received email that my AZ CCW was approved and would be mailed to me shortly.

AZ CCW Costs:

$67.45 AZ CCW Application

$11.45 Fingerprints.

$128.00 Total for 5 years ($2.14 per month)

Total of 4 days for the AZ CCW application process.

Now I'm looking into CCW Insurance and some affordable additional training classes.

I have major FOMO with the Glock situation in CA. I know there are rumors swirling around that the gen 6 may make it on the Ca roster. But I’m shopping for my “Father day gift” (to myself) so I’m not going to wait that long. Here are the choices:

1. Used Glock 19. Being priced from $800-$1000. In decent condition.

2. Shadow system’s XR920 $980

I went and tried a Derya DY9. However I don’t like the feel in my hand and am not a fan of the really flared magwell.

The Derya and Shadow systems have to be picked by July 1st due to the ban.

What else would you recommend that I try?

Hello , we have a Honda EU2000i. We primarily use it just for emergencies. It’s been sitting for over 18 months. There was fuel in it when it was put into storage.

I’m assuming the fuel has gone bad ? Could someone tell me how to get the fuel out and or what I should do for maintenance?

The generator must have less than 30 hours on it.
