High ping with SLT Fibre?

Anyone else having really high ping today? (250ms+ on Singapore servers) my friends using SLT are also having the same issue while my friends that aren’t using SLT are having no issues at all.

Looking for a 9070 XT in Sri Lanka

Looking for a higher end 9070 XT (like the XFX Mercury or Sapphire Nitro+) but I can’t seem to find any. Does anyone know where to find one or what’s the best way to get it shipped to Sri Lanka? It was around 1100$ USD if I shipped it from Amazon US (including import fees and shipping)

PC doesn’t boot, no lights turn on and no sign of life.

Hey, i’m building my friends pc at his place and we’ve connected everything but it won’t turn on. No lights no fans or anything. I tried shorting the pin using my screwdriver and nada. I disconnected the gpu, and anything else that’s not essential and still nothing. I’m completely out of ideas.

The power button on the PSU is on. (I) I’ve reseated the 24 pin and the 4 pin cable multiple times. the psu is 100% connected to the outlet as well

Reseated the ram, tried with the cpu fan plugged in, plugged into a working port.

Solved! The CPU cable was plugged weirdly causing a short. Works perfectly now

LOVINGCOOL DP-02 AIO Cooler Linux Application

Hey!
I’ve built this software for linux for anyone who’s having trouble changing their LCD display with the LOVINGCOOL DP-02 AIO’s on linux.

This currently only works for DP-02 as far as I know, but if anyone has a DP-01 model or any other model from lovingcool, if it’s possible for you I’d be grateful if you could send the USB protocols that the software was sending to the cooler and by doing that I can add compatibility to allow that model to work with this software.

I’m aware this is a very very small niche, but if anyone wanted it it’s out there now.

It works by using the protocols that the windows software was sending to the LCD display and sending it on linux. It doesn’t work with GIFs, as i’m not sure how to implement that (yet?) If anyone has any suggestions on what I could add to it, let me know! This was just a fun project and also my first.

I made it because the windows software doesn’t work using wine and on windows the software is unoptimized and uses way too much RAM to have it running in the background all the time. (I also didn’t want windows dual booted)

How to get hardware control software to detect my AIO?

I have a LOVINGCOOL DP-360-02 and the problem I have is that the software doesn’t detect it when using wine. I made a windows partition to change the screen (which it worked nicely) but that would give the problem where every time I restart the PC I have to go back to windows, and open the software or it would just stay as the default screen image. I’m not sure what to do I’d just like to stop needing a windows boot 😭

Which CPU to upgrade to?

I currently have an rx5700, r5 5600, and single channel 16 gb 3200mhz.
I’ve ordered a 9070 XT and a 2x16 gb DDR4 kit. But I feel like my cpu might be too weak for the 9070XT but i’m not sure what CPU would be the best upgrade for it. Im playing on a 1440p 180hz monitor.

Edit: I live in Sri Lanka but i’m able to import from Australia if need be and my budget is around 300-400$
