Hi guys, on my ‘25 bobber icon, it looks like either the tank is off centre or the stripes painted onto the tank are. I’m just looking down from the front and using the handlebar mount as my reference point - just looks like that centre stripe is off to the left. Overall the bike looks dead straight so just wondering if anyone had any insights or views. TIA
Got mine last week. Most people I’ve told have said something along the lines of “bold choice” or worse.

Hi, I’m with a small driving school (1 man band) ready for Mod 1 test. My instructor typically looks at 3 Test Centers around where we are for doing tests. None of them show anything available for any date in the near or distant future.
I looked at cancellation apps but they seem to only support car tests.
What can I do here? I’ve asked my instructor to try and grab something for me when the opportunity presents but apparently a lot of slots go to big driving schools, so not filled with confidence that he’ll get me one soon.
A) wait
B) find a some wizard kid that can grab me a test when they’re released
C) go to a big driving school and ask for a test
D) ask my instructor to ride to a Center that’s further out?
I’d appreciate any help / support. Based in West Herts, so Leighton Buzzard, Uxbridge and Enfield would be the three test centres I’d look at.
Hi, my Abarth 500 is new to me. I want to space the rear wheels out a bit as they sit quite far into the wheel arches. I’m measuring ca 16mm gap from outside wheel arch lip to widest part of wheel/tyre.
Thinking 13mm might work best?
Pic for reference (yes they need a refurb). Car isn’t lowered.
Anyone done the same // able to give input based on these measurements? TIA
EDIT: Just highlighting what I called out in the second paragraph as some people seem to have missed it: I’m not letting this stop me from doing anything, I’m just surprised by the lack of enthusiasm others seem to share on the subject and wondering if that’s just my miserable bunch of friends or a common occurrence!
I’m in my late 30s and in the process of getting my full UK motorcycle license. I don’t really know anyone else who rides motorbikes around me but regardless whom I speak with about my ambitions, they seem to all have negative opinions about riding.
I’m a very responsible person and old enough to know the risks (I have a young family) and also to not care much about what other people think, BUT I was really quite taken aback by how little enthusiasm others seem to share about the subject. Most people just go straight to “it’s too dangerous” and “you’re going to fall off and hurt yourself or die”. Others seem to just accuse me of having a midlife crisis (fair enough, but so what 🤷🏻♂️)
Is this common if you’re not surrounded by people who ride themselves?
I’ve just rarely come across another - let’s call it “hobby” for the purpose of this conversation - that people who know nothing about have such strong views on.
What’s everyone else’s experience?
