we should have a button on the registers that we can press to activate any eligible offers if they have an account with us, but i guess it’s easier to show them step by step on their phones lllmmmfffaaaoooo

hey all, i’ve been working as a cashier at my store for 3 years now and i just feel so incredibly miserable regarding work and everything related to petsmart… i don’t know if it’s just my mental health deteriorating as it usually does at the end of the year or if it’s really just my time to finally quit.

i try so hard to come into work with a positive attitude but i just can’t do it anymore… i used to look forward to work and seeing my coworkers but the vibes are just so off nowadays especially with all the deadlines and changes and constant hounding from my asl over metrics and shit.. it seems like nothing me and my fellow cashiers do is ever enough for anyone and i’m just so over it.. its getting ridiculous.

and the customers are a whole other issue.. i DONT KNOW what the fuck is in the air but these people are so disgustingly rude to me, my coworkers, other people in the store.. i just don’t understand the foul behavior being exhibited by the people who shop here.. its a PET STORE why are you getting so angry.

i see many posts on here about people celebrating their departure from the company and i really need that to be me soon lmao… i want to make it through the holiday season but that might just be the final nail in the coffin. Fuck chance and his fugly ass friends

i won’t lie, it was a bit painful but after 2 years i’m finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel??? i’ve been dealing with terrible diarrhea and loose poo since my surgery in march 2 years ago but recently someone recommended imodium and it HELPED TREMENDOUSLY??? my stomach didn’t hurt after greasy pizza for the first time ever!

i’ll be honest, the changes in how my body handles any type of food and drink really put me in. a bad spot… i feel like nobody really talks about the mental challenges that come with constant bloating, diarrhea, everything making you sick… if anyone is thinking about trying imodium i highly recommend.

just wondering if anyone else has dealt with this issue today… i had a customer tonight try and activate the 10x points on calming treats today but the offer isn’t in the app? i checked on my own app for her but nothing shows up either and the offer ends on 7/5.

i gave her the customer service number and let my store leader know just in case corp took it off and didn’t send any emails for signage? the customer thankfully wasn’t bothered about it but i did find it weird that the offer doesn’t exist in the app.

i’m done.

petsmart is the equivalent to an animal target… why does the general public not understand this? i am not qualified to give advice on newborn wildlife… you have a kitten? yes i can 100% help you get anything you need and give you detailed information on how to proceed with it… the most i’m allowed to do is give you the phone number to the nearest wildlife center.

but running into the store with a wild bird IN A CHINESE TAKEOUT BOX is just batshit fucking crazy… and then this man proceeds to tell me he found it in a nest 🙂 why the fuck did you take it out? i am so over these people trying to be snow white… don’t even get me started on the man who came in with a bird that he hit and expected me to be able to perform surgery on it and couldn’t comprehend why i was getting angry with him (it was not fun seeing bird guts… so fucking sad.)

yesterday i paid for a hotel using Klarna cuz I’m tight on money and this trip is for urgent family matters.

I got the confirmation email from the hotel itself, I had done the pay in full so I won’t have to pay at the hotel and made a plan with Klarna but they didn’t take out the $41 deposit that I was anticipating to pay.

I kept checking the app all day, cuz usually it will take a couple hours to go through but I got a notification at work today saying the card I created wasn’t used so it was canceled.

I logged into the hotel website and my reservation is still confirmed and I contacted them to see if it’s just not updated but they told me that its all reserved and well.

Has this happened to anyone else? Should I contact Klarna because I do not want to get to my hotel states away and be told that there’s no room for me after all.

this is my first lolla and i live in schaumburg so i’m taking the metra to downtown as i usually do, but do they run on a later schedule to accommodate for travelers or would the trains run as usual? i’d assume the L runs later as well… my metra app isn’t showing me schedules this far in advance and i’m just trying to plan my trips.

attempting to ticket for finn wolfhard on friday cuz im broke asf until then… i went on tiktok to look and it looks very tiny but anyone with experience going there for aftershows is it as cramped as it seems? i’m okay with large crowds but a big amount of people in a sweaty enclosed space with loud music playing is not my idea of fun lol

first time lolla goer— i have a 4 day ticket and i’m going alone but skipping thursday cuz theres not much that interests me on that day.

i’m mainly going for him on friday and i’m hoping for an aftershow but how likely do we think it is? i know he’s not a major major performer in comparison to 70% of the rest of the lineup but he announced a tour this morning and i need to figure out if i should wait for an aftershow announcement before committing to traveling for his shows!
