Hey guys, I decided I’m going sober because the bottle was destroying me.. had a breakup two months ago almost and I think I’ve had two days where I haven’t drank heavily in that span.

This first day has been terrible.. I don’t think I’ll be able to sleep well at all. Nothing is enjoyable, I feel sick.

Anyways what are some tips on to stay sober and help me get through this?

Does anybody else think season 5 absolutely sucks?

I love the sketches they have one of my favorites in one of the last episodes the spaghetti o’s one.
I feel like though they use the Civil war on drugs thing to really stretch out the show.
I skip every part of the civil war shit. It’s not funny at all.

I love WKUK but the CWOD part of every episode kinda ruins season 5 for me.

From his own mouth he said he drinks 3 energy drinks on a game day.

How long until Leo Carlsson’s heart explodes?
With this new contract I can see him maybe having 4 per day too which probably isn’t good for anybody.

What’s the best arena in the NHL to take a shit at?

I myself have shat in 17/32 arenas. The most notable ones were MSG, Keybank, and Honda Center.

The worst ones were American Airlines, Nationwide, and Capital one arena.

Ted lenosis himself actually escorted me to a “secret shitters club” and it was below the arena and I met some cool people but they all wanted to watch me poop. That wasn’t cool because they also brought in strippers to help ease the tension but all that did was get me hard while taking a shit and then I peed all over the place resulting in a 2 month ban from the arena.

Anyways what’s the best arena to take a mondo duke at?

Kyrou to WSH for CMM, Gastrin and 16th OVR

First of all, R.I.P. Grandma.

My grandma was a big NHL fan and I am also one.
My family and I have been having difficult conversations about what to do next and how to go about it. My grandma wrote me into her will and basically gave me all of the cool stuff like her jetski rental company and a shit ton of old vcr tapes of just Pamela Anderson from baywatch.

But, I feel a certain way about how she wants to be buried.
She has always wanted to be buried in a Habs jersey and a Habs themed casket.
I can’t do that.
As a fan of the Dallas Stars I can’t help but to feel a certain way about my grandma and her dying wishes.. sure it’s cool and all but I hate the Habs and everything about them.
I have told my family that I am vetoing everything she wanted to happen and she can do that only if it is all Dallas stars themed.

They seemed to not like how I brought it up maybe? Idk maybe I was a bit abrasive or something?

Anyways I’m just trying to figure out how to ask them nicely so that my point gets across better.

Alexander Command 16th OVR
All I see with him is he can be a shit head like Erikson Ek. Scoring touch and just great skill with good defensive play. Maybe could be a 2nd line center but bottoms out at least in the bottom 6. Caps also need more center prospects

Oliver Suvanto 16th OVR if command is gone is also a pick I would like to see. Suvanto might have a lower floor and less upside than Command but he also seems to be a pretty safe bet to be on the bottom 6. Big center with some skill I could see him pairing well with the other big guys on the team and maybe can lead a line with just his physical presence. I’d rather command though.

18th OVR I want to see us go for a skilled guy with upside maybe take a reach at one of these guys.

J.P. Hurlbert LW shoots right
97PTs 42G in the WHL high end skill just bad skating mechanics and that’s something fixable.
I just think the talent here would be nice to bet on.

Similarly I think Klepov would be a nice pick.
Led the OHL in points with 97 less of a goal scorer than Hurlbert but I like either of them.

Tommy Bleyl!
Bleyl is who I really want the caps to add. I believe he led the QMJHL in points (at least by defensemen) he also is shifty and right handed.
I see him being a Sandin replacement in the future and a guy that could be behind Hutson and QB PP2.

Anyways who (REALISTICALLY) do you see the caps drafting?

Per Darren Dreger the ducks will likely move on from Mason Mctavish.

Obviously we should go after him. The asking price id be curious about cause they kinda have tanked his value a bit but he is on a great contract long term. He is also only 23.

Terik parasak and then we trade back their old 1st?
I think you lowball them to start but Verbeek is an asshole and I could see the price being steep.
Parasak looks like he could maybe become a guy in the league but maybe not that top 6 guy we wanted.
Who knows though and then the first cause they need something back.

Anyways what do you think a potential trade package could look like for Mctavish to us or to anywhere.

(Unrealistic) I know this won’t ever happen but a guy can dream.

Toronto trades: Matthew Knies
Capitals trade: Connor Mcmichael, Hendrix Lappiere, 18th overall in this draft, and a 2027 conditional 2nd. (Conditions being the capitals make the ECF)

I could see the leafs being desperate now. Chayka seems to be heavy on analytics and Knies has trash numbers. CMM also probably becomes the 2nd line center idk depending on what Tavares wants to do. Anyways that’s center depth and CMM is an Ontario kid so he would probably like to play there and would fit in. Lappiere is a throw in and maybe can become a pesky forward for the leafs since they lack true depth. I see Lappy being a winger if he carved out an NHL career now.

Knies would be a good addition to this roster especially if Ovi is leaving. I see Leonard being a Knies like player and I think that could be a good duo.

People who are in tune with the NHL draft.
Who do you want the capitals to select with the 16 & 18th overall picks?

My personal picks would be Ryan Lin and Elton Hermansson both boom or bust prospects with talent is what I’ve seen and heard about these guys but they have a solid floor as a bottom pair guy and 3rd line winger it’s the skill that makes me want to select these guys.

Klepov is also one id like us to select if those guys happen to be gone.

To be honest though I see us taking Command or Suvanto with one pick
