KD Frames Lexington Platform Bed - Does not finishing the wood have any downsides?

Their website says this -

>If I want to stain or finish the wood, how should I do that? Most customers leave the wood unfinished, but you can absolutely apply a finish if you prefer. Here’s a great video on how to finish Tulip Poplar.

I want to understand from long-term users if leaving the wood unfinished has any consequences. Will cleaning with any kind of liquid be an issue?

Harley-Davidson strikes a gain. Motorcycle crashes passing on the right.

*again

Edit - Since all the HD fanboys are salty - https://rcmp.ca/en/bc/bchp/news/2026/07/4354599

>When the police officer activated his lights and siren, a blue pickup truck signalled and pulled off to the right as required by law. Instead of doing the same thing, the motorcyclist continued passing on the right, which resulted in running over a road sign and into the rear of the blue pickup.

KD Frames Lexington Platform Bed - Does mattress slide side-to-side? Could somebody confirm?

I'm looking into purchasing this model. I'm curious to know if a full foam mattress (T&N) will slide from side-to-side.

I ask this because -

  • The slats are not recessed into the bed frame, which means that the mattress is not recessed into the bed frame.
  • I currently have the Zinus Kai Bamboo and Metal Platform Bed Frame with Headboard, and the mattress constantly slides about 1"+ in either direction depending upon which side I use to get in/out. Btw, any solutions for this?
  • I previously had the Ikea Malm bed frame with recessed slats, and that worked perfectly.
