What's your one exception to something you otherwise boycott?

I tend to avoid anything with Kevin Spacey in it for obvious reasons, except for The Ref. It's a great Christmas movie, just...uh, not appropriate for children. At all. Like a distillation of every bad Christmas you've had with a terrible family only there's a guy with a gun (Denis Leary) too.

How do you guys get your extra fiber?

I'm on Depo because of nightmare periods and iron pills, both of which are known to cause constipation. I can't have lettuce due to an allergy and I know a lot of sources of fiber tend to also have the problematic phosphorus or potassium. My electrolytes are currently within good range. So I'm wondering what are y'alls favorite ways to get your fiber in?

I'm stage 5 in case you are curious.

Did anyone else get a $100 bonus?

The only other thing it could be is because I will hit my 10 year milestone in a week or so.

I'm not seeing it listed in the bonus list on workday but that might just be because it's a holiday weekend

Edit: checked pay stubs, it must be related to the 10 year mark, it's titled "Service Award Gross Up"

CKD brought me here

Went to the hospital in April for a 3 week period. They take my blood. They tell me I have CKD stage 5. I have a kidney bag due to obstruction from the uterus (something is swelling and keeping all the pee from getting from the kidneys to the bladder). I've been telling people get the occasional blood test when they go to the doctor because I had no symptoms.

Anyway, I find Nurgle's messages more comforting than "you'll be fine, we will med you up" (though I am taking the meds obviously). Even if they yanked my uterus tomorrow, the damage is done. My CKD is here to stay.

Hail Nurgle.

Hi, I'm new here, just got diagnosed in April

I went in for a period that wouldn't end and the hospital took my blood and said my egfr was 8 and my creatinine was over 6. I had no idea. No symptoms except maybe fatigue (I work retail) and such but apparently swelling in the lady area is pressing on some ureters and causing hydronephrosis. I have one useless kidney and one swollen one with a nephrostomy and a vitamin D pill because I was horribly low in Vitamin D.

The only reason I am not on dialysis, they tell me, is because I am still producing plenty of urine and am not having symptoms other than the fatigue. Electrolytes looking good, waiting for results of my d&c (no pregnancy) in early July.

Egfr is now 12, and creatinine is down to 4.5, I'm guessing because I have done things like cut out soda and eating pizza and burgers all the time. Possibly the 10 pounds I dropped contributed to this, I don't remember for sure if they said that helped.

I guess since I have to ask a question is, how do you guys safely get calcium without the risk of too much potassium or phosphorus? It's in the acceptable range but on the lower end.

Subreddit to post in about a D&C but not related to miscarriages

I have swelling in the uterus which is causing kidney failure and recently had a d&c where they're going to sort of inspect the lining/polyps they got rid of during the procedure, etc. I have questions about the procedure but all of the subreddits I have found are only for women who have miscarried or had an abortion. There was no pregnancy involved here. Thank you ahead of time.

DFU - weapon swing mode is just not there. At all. anywhere.

What it says on the tin. This is very frustrating. And I can't find the folder to modify the ini file or whatever it is either

WHERE IS IT???

The slider bar is not in the screen that has everything else in the initial menu. It's not in the options once I've loaded. It's screwed off into the aether
