Position

Hey everyone,

I recently returned to Best Buy after about 6 months, my initial position was Product Flow back during the seasonal season but was mostly just at Host. When I reapplied I applied for a Sales position because I literally hate doing warehouse stuff and Host. So then I got interviewed my EM and she gave me the job instantly because they needed people. They sent me the paperwork and hired me as a Sales Advisor this time but once I started getting my schedule I noticed they started doing the same BS and putting me up in Host and Warehouse even though I was hired as Sales and wanted to do sales.

After about 3 weeks I approached my GM today asking him what’s up with my schedule and he was like “Oh you weren’t supposed to be sales and we are gonna switch you to product flow”. I also told him that I prefer later shifts and the other host doesn’t mind coming in early but he was like “Yeah but he doesn’t show up so we’re gonna give you the early shifts and put him as the closing host”

This dude pissed me the fuck off, firstly I never applied for the fucking warehouse shit so why are you switching me especially without my consent?? Also the fuck you mean the dude doesn’t show up in the morning?? Does that mean if I stop showing up in the morning then I’ll get the closing shifts?. Genuinely thinking what kind of bullshit is this dude is on because he knows he’s wrong by randomly switching my position to something I don’t want to do and especially without my knowledge. I somewhat get the message of not getting the closing shifts but genuinely what the fuck is this dude on.

I’m gonna tell this guy my next shift that I don’t want to switch or pay me more or else I’m not gonna show up. They know they’re doing me dirty and I don’t have any problems with him and we typically get along but he pissed me the fuck off because of this BS.

Update on previous post about overheating 99’ Civic

I took some photos in the day time and is this normal for the coolant reservoir and the radiator cap to be filled with copper sparkles/sludge?

Issue with 1999 Honda civic overheating

Hey everybody, I need some help regarding my Honda Civic. I bought a used 99' Civic 3 days ago on marketplace and today I started to really use it and drove around 30 miles. During the beginning of the drive I stupidly put the car into D3 on the highway and was goin‹ 70mph at 7000rpm for a good 30 seconds to a minute.

Then I quickly realized my mistake and corrected it and then all was fine. Then around 30 minutes later | get off the highway and driving on the regular roads going normal speeds. About 15 minutes on to the road I notice that my A/C stopped blowing cold air during the drive and didn't think too much of it. I then notice about 15 minutes later when I put it into park the coolant reservoir was leaking and i popped the hood and the reservoir was boiling and overflowing and the radiator cap was smoking.

Then I left the car for 2 hrs and took it back out and it drove normally and I drove it 2 more miles back home and it was fine. Around 7 hours later I did a test and filled the reservoir and the radiator cap with distilled water because it seemed low and ran the engine to see if the water starts coming out which it didn't. I ran it for 20 minute and the temp and everything was fine.

I then turned it off for a few minutes then put the cap back on and then turned it back on with the A/C at full blast. I noticed a minute later the radiator cap started smoking again and I quickly shut it off. I'm so stressed and am worried there's something wrong with the head gasket because it was changed before and I don't know if it's broken or not. Any advice pls? l

Another crash🫩

Hey fellow scooter riders

That time has come to me that I’ve gotten into yet another accident after I crashed a year ago going 50mph on my brothers Arwibon Gt08 after getting a death wobble on that complete garbage scooter. This time I crashed on my brothers Teverun 7260r going 60mph on the first day of him owning it. I was testing it out regularly trying to hit top speed and then while going on a straight road in approximately 3 seconds I get the worst death wobble and I flew back off the scooter and slid across the pavement at 60mph.

What shocks me is even with 2 steering dampeners the scooter still gets death wobbles which shows how there was no thought into the geometry of the scooter during production hence the reason they came out with 5 different versions. I’m pretty beat up and have bad road rash on my arm and torso and had a goose bump on my head. I was seconds from going to the ER and even some lady called 911 but I decided it’s too much because I’ve never been to the er for something like this which is kinda stupid. Luckily didn’t break any bones most likely because I’m a heavier person
