Paint Help

This is a small bathroom I am remodeling. The first picture is the AI generated inspo picture. I had what I thought was a good dark navy paint and due to the lighting it turned out like the second picture. I obviously need to repaint so trying to get closer to the third picture. I am going to buy sample paint and actually paint it on the wall so I can see it in the lighting. Anyone have any good luck with brands or names of navy paint. I need this asap so I don’t have the luxury of going to multiple stores.

This is bullshit. Am I allowed to say that?

I’m 53 and still going strong with symptoms. The depression, anxiety, sleeplessness, hot flashes, never ending bleeding, etc.. Oh, and the expense! Between doctors visits, prescriptions, vitamins and tampons, it’s ridiculous. No one seems to care and I’m about to have a breakdown every day. It’s just too much and I’m over it. Someone needs to invent a menopause pill, you take it and bam, you’re in menopause.

Mobility Aid Recommendations

My family experienced an unimaginable tragedy and lost multiple family members. I HAVE to go to the funeral. I can’t stand for more than 2-3 minutes and can only walk about 100 steps before needing to sit. Any recommendations on mobility aids to get me through this funeral? I only have a few days to order or get anything. I don’t know if I can find anyone to push me if I were to get a wheelchair. Thanks.

Anyone use meal delivery like Factor, Cook Unity, Hello Fresh, etc.

Yes, I know we are supposed to be eating whole fresh foods but sometimes that is just not possible. Wondering how these meals are tolerated on Mounjaro.

Bathroom remodel, please help me decide

These are AI generated so I know the colors may be off and there are proportion issues. With that being said, which design do you like the best. Any other suggestions? Thanks.

What do we think of penny rounds?

I’m using glossy ceramic tile for the shower walls but need tile for the floor. My priority is safety as I previously fell in the shower. Are penny rounds a good choice or are they too much of a pain? Is there a better option? I’m also installing a shower bench. The front of the bench will be the same ceramic tile but would it be weird if the top of the bench would also be penny rounds? I originally was going to match the top of the bench to the vanity but again, worried about quartz or marble being too slippery.

Do GLP-1’s work for emotional eaters?

I know GLP-1’s slow digestion so you are not hungry but if you are an emotional eater, you eat whether you are hungry or not. Can you eat right through the GLP-1 so it’s not useful? I’m assuming if you do that you’ll have bad digestive side effects but it’s probably still possible.

Does anyone have a GLP-1 recommendation?

Of course, like everyone, I want the one that’s most effective with the least side effects. If insurance/money isn’t an issue, which one would you recommend? Also, does anyone know anything about retatrutide peptides? I see people on Instagram talking about it but can’t figure out what it is since I know retatrutide is not FDA approved yet and probably won’t be for a while. Thanks.

I’m afraid of color

These pictures are AI generated to give me ideas. I know it’s not entirely accurate and I will look at actual paint and tile samples. I need to make a decision soon. I kind of prefer the blue but am so scared I!’ll hate it a few years from now. I tend to always chicken out at the end and go with the neutrals. Thoughts on color or anything else in the bathroom?

I’ve never remodeled anything and have no idea what I’m doing

I want to do a complete bathroom remodel including removing the tub and installing a new big shower. I’ve gotten 3 quotes so far. A few initial questions.

- Is it normal to be forced to buy fixtures through a showroom vs Home Depot or a similar store?
- Are tile and fixtures bought at Home Depot inferior to much more expensive fixtures or is it all aesthetics? I guess I’m trying to figure out what things are worth paying extra for and what things I can save on.
- How much should I budget for over the quoted price, 10%, 20%? I guess this would account for unexpected problems and time.

Thanks!
