Is there a way to replay the story and choose the alternative timeline through chapter select in new collosus like you can in new order?

I just finished replaying new order under the Fergus timeline after first beating it with Wyatt timeline. I'm trying to do the same in new collosus (I've already beat it with Wyatt, now I want to do it with Fergus)

Is that possible and I'm missing it or do I have to start a completely new game and just set a different save slot? My concern is if I start a completely new game, that means I'm gonna lose all those collectibles I've found already....

What am I missing here?

Whatever is supposed to be here isn't showing up. It's also not above me here either.

I thought maybe this was showing me where the constrictor component might be when I came back using the enigma machine. But I finished the story level(getting the new Orleans dossier) and these pics are taken after that mission when I've returned to kill übercommando kessler.

If you can tell me where the collectable that the mini map is implicating should be here in front of me, I'd appreciate it. Also, I'm hoping to pick up the component during this missions, if you can tell me where I should expect to find it, I'd appreciate it. From what I gleam from other information I've seen, it should be relatively close to Kessler. If that's true, I'd love to see that confirmed.

I just chose the battle walker. Question about picking up the constrictor contraption next.

So I've looked it up and I can get the constrictor in Manhattan bunker stage and the battle harness in nawlns. Well as you know, the very next stage in the story after choosing your contraption is the Manhattan bunker.

Everything I'm seeing online says you must retrieve the other 2 contraptions during the üburcommando missions specifically. So I'm just checking to make sure. I absolutely can *not* find and collect the constrictor during the next story mission? I have to wait till the übercommando missions right?

If I can collect it during the dossier mission, can you tell me where it's supposed to be? I'm saved right before I pick up the dossier and want to know if I should go look for it before I grab the story MacGuffin.

I feel like I missed something between new order and new collosus.

I finished new order a couple days ago and now I'm playing new collosus. From what I saw and understand, Caroline and BJ are resistance battle comrades and she held a leadership position. And I understand they had a friendly relationship, as stoic as bj is in general. But ever since the beginning of Wolfenstein 2 and bj takes her suit after almost dying. But him talking to her "spirit" as if she's with him or on the radio has me a bit confused. I understand his impending death has him in a delecate mental state. But I feel like based on the nature in which he talks to her ghost, they were much closer than I got the impression from playing the last game.

For a while I kept thinking he was talking to his pregnant gf and I had just gotten the names mixed up.

Did they have a closer relationship than the one I saw in the last game?

I'm really liking the second game. The gameplay is ok, not great, but the lore and world building is top notch.

The only other game I've played in the series is the original. The one you can play in the galley.

I just started chapter 6 and have entered Nazi nasa, I feel like this is supposed to be something. Is this something (refer to foto for question)

Clearly there's a code on the wall seemingly breaking the 4th wall and taking to the gamer who looks at it and just next to it is what looks like a safe with a code panel that doesn't bring up a prompt when approached.

I've already found myself getting confused with other aspects of this game because the devs didn't make it very easy to distinguish normal level elements from important ones like games like assassin's creed or witcher do (like make important or interactable element glow or stand out or paint them red or yellow to make them stand out from normal background elements)

So is there something to what I'm showing in the photo?

I just picked up new order and new Colossus and I have, what I assume is a common question for you guys...

I have to choose who to be sacrificed. Now I've already done the usual ask Google AI and IGN route so see what exactly each choice truly means. But other than telling me it slightly changes the story/narrative and that one choice gives me lock pick and the other hotwire. I'm more curious about choice makes for the more fun slash entertaining experience.

Based on my research, it seems the younger guy, the one that saved me from the hound and the plane crash, wyatt I think. Seems to be with the "right" choice... Am I right?

I intend to play the game through more than once of course so I will definitely pick the other option next time. But since I picked up both games at once. I'm probably gonna move straight to new Colossus soon as I finish my first run here...

So is wyatt the best choice for me here?

Also, should I expect more choices like this further in the game or in the next game? Where my choice will rather greatly affect the narrative of the game?

If you say I should choose fergus and have a reason. Pls tell me. If enough people say it, or I see a compelling argument for fergus. I'll definitely change my gut instinct.

Also. Am I Punk for choosing the second to easiest difficulty? I'm ok with it, just curious.

I was tailing Emma child during a mission and lost her but the mission didn't fail.

I assume this either means it's designed for me to lose her or that it's one possible acceptable outcome for the mission.

Can someone tell me what happens if I don't lose her and am able to follow her untill the upload is finished?

I ask because I'm curious what changes in game if I don't "fail" the mission like I did. Based on how quickly her car starts to leave me like it did, that "failing" the mission is what the game intends. But like a lot of people, seeing that red failed text really triggers something in me and I hate when games don't give you a "restart from cheak point option.

It's been a while since this has been asked or talked about, and of course, it's the main talking point in regards to legion as a game compared to 1 and 2. Which is, why is It hated so much?

I understand the biggest complaint is the lack of a single playable character, making it more challenging for players to identify with someone and experiencing their growth through out the game, but that's the only real complaint I see and I don't feel like that alone is enough to call this game bad. Sure there are new elements I don't love as much as similar elements I played in the other games. But I also enjoy some of the new elements. And honestly, I don't really hate the element of playing as the group versus playing as one character.

I do think it would have been better if there was one primary character that is seen as the "main" dead sec person. Someone you can't retire... Someone who may live has the ability to learn some new abilities from the new recruits and their exclusive abilities.... But I don't think not having that makes the game bad....

Like I held off buying the game because I couldn't imagine why it was priced at such a low point... Used versions of the game have been 5 to 10 bucks for a long time. That made me think maybe it didn't have a real story mode and was mostly, exclusively for online play. I don't play online. Just the story. But now that I have it and have almost beat the story mode. I find it's an absolutly sufficient 3rd entry in the trilogy of watch dogs story games.

I think it's a fun game, I think it has a lot of fun elements that you wouldn't find in other games like it. I like alot of the story mode elements that have been introduced in the game. I can't believe it's seen as such a bad game by the greater audience.

Some little things I wish they had added?

When you're walking around you see other members, former members, relations and enemies of members. That's really cool. But when you meet another member of dedsec on the street you can't interact with them. That's crazy. If my hacker member walks by one of my hitmen members, they totally should have a secret handshake when they see each other.

Once you start using the utility drone, you find alot of fun gameplay elements can completely be skipped just by flying to a hard to reach roof or something. I wish there was a bit more balance to encourage us not to use the cargo drone to skip elements of missions.

I wish there was more room for members and potential members.

I wish there was more in the way of character type and more combination character types. Like all spys have basicly the same perks and all hackers have the same perks. But it would be cool to learn hybrid characters like a spy that trades some of their cool spu craft tools for some hacker attributes.

If you've ever played the South Park games. You can get an idea of what I mean. You can combine 2 or 3 superhero types to create a hybrid superhero type.

I'd love for my main dedsec girl, who's a hacker. To be able to drive a spy car or able to learn call and use a specialized drone like the drone expert recruits can.

But anyways, all my wishes for the game are just wishes, not things that make the game a bad game. It truly is a good game and I find it odd that anyone who enjoyed 1 or 2 wouldn't also enjoy this game as well.

Is there supposed to be some way of tracking the paste ups?

I do them as I find them, I see them on the mini map. But I would assume there would be some kind of cheak mark next to the icon once I've done one or some kind of list somewhere in my hud or missions bar telling me how many I've done or something. The game has nothing letting me know which ones I've done or still need to do or telling me how many more I have left or anything.

Is there not any way to track this part of the game besides a literal pen and paper and manually write down every one I've hit already?

I know I've gotten a good bit of them because I've unlocked all but the last 4 designs. But I've also opened the entire map and can't find any that I've supposedly missed...

I have an interesting question for the rest of the class. Im almost 45 and have my first ever jury summons tomorrow morning. Thoughts?

So here's my dilemma, I have about as much respect and trust for our legal system as you would expect from anyone who willfully belongs to a sub like this one. I've always prided myself on knowing things like what "jury nullification" means, or other sure fire ways to get unselected for this self important, circle jerk of a task.

I don't believe jurys are all that important when the whole circus it's self treats lying, self purging cops like victims and treats victims like criminals that just haven't been found guilty yet. I don't believe there's a such a thing as a "good" judge just like there's no good cops. Because they are mutually exclusive. Even the best, most reasonable and compassionate judges still do their part in protecting bad cops and don't see the problem when they do.

But now that jury duty is upon me, I find myself feeling intrigued in seeing things from that side of the curtain. And maybe there might be a slim chance that I might be able to use my antifa/ anti cop views to possibly help someone who's being railroaded by the system.

Im still put out by the fact I have to do this, but my choice to tank the whole experience from the onset is mitigated by my curiosity of the experience. Especially if there's a chance I get into a jury for something that's a real big deal or that has some popularity behind it. There was a high profile stabbing last year in my city, I would be very interested in sticking around if that case is the one I'm watching.

Thoughts?

What am I supposed to do when I stumble across someone like this. Someone who has a negative connection to one of my recruits or potential recruits?

I've ignored them, I usually knock them out or worse because my instinct WAS that the game wanted me to see them as some sort of non aggressive enemy, given the fact that their icons are red when you see them on the street. However, knocking them out hasn't seemed to lead to anything, not even a conversation with the operative they are connected too. I could recruit them I guess, but none of them have been very enticing, skills wise, to recruit, and I'm already at 38, so I'm trying to min max my talent pool. But if recruiting them potentially leads to an even better operative, I would do it to get that. Or maybe there's something I could do with them that might lead me to a unique recruit? I don't know because the games doesn't seem great at explaining things like this.

On a side note, I inadvertently recruited a daughter(medic with an ambulance) and father (barrister with a car and one of my 6 skilled investors) combo, which I think is neato.

Anyways, if anyone knows of something I can do with this info I'm missing, please let me know.

Also, if anyone knows of a way to find premium recruits that doesn't involve looking up spawn points. Something that might be tied to an in-game mechanic I might have missed, pls let me know.

u/rustys_shackled_ford — 21 days ago

New to the game and a bit confused with recruiters and their passive abilities.

I just found this lady who's job is spy. Her specials were super cool. A car with built in middle launcher and cloaking, a watch that jams guns, silenced p9... But she's also a gambling addict.

I thought, ok so maybe I lose a bit of money randomly but I'll also win some so in the end, maybe it'll be a slight loss, but since up to now, only thing I've needed money for is clothes, no big deal... Well I've only had her recruited for a couple in game hours. Long enough to do one side mission and a wee bit of exploring/tech point looking and so far she's lost me money 4 times and the last time was 280 bucks... I only have 2 stacks at the moment so 300 is a substantial loss.

Can I do anything to fix this aside dropping her from the clan? Also, does she ever win? Like do I have to accept this as a cost to having her on the team or can I do anything about it?

Also, while I love WD2, this game is quite a bit different. I do like it a lot but it's a very different game. I'm not complaining, to be a 5$ game at GameStop, I expected it to be way worse, but If anyone has advice on what I should be doing, or focusing on first... So far I've just been clearing out certain areas and looking for tech points to buy all the cool upgrades. Also I've been looking for recruits that have abilities I think will be helpful. Like I was wondering if it was a good idea to recruit some police and or alinon soldiers. They all have double red thumbs down, so I assume they take some work to recruit, but I imagine having some inside guys might be helpful.

So anyways, any advice in general is appreciated.

Thoughts on my recently discovered set that I collected in my teen years?

This is just a few pages. I have the whole collection from this year in base cards and about half the collection in, I guess there called holos, they are shimmery. Plus a handful of random cards from other sets from this time frame.

I'm not exactly trying to sell them, just sharing. But if anyone see something from this year or knows of something from this set that I should take extra care of, pls let me know. It was a cool year for marvel cards.

I'm struggling with finding the statues, even with the online maps...

So I've started with the "pointer" statue on top the mountain on the lower area of hatun ukucha.

Once I pulled its arm down and it spun around it ended up pointing north east. Twords prospero areoepsacial. The large military airbase in south west umiña.

I've looked in that area and around the mountain between the pointer and the air base and can't find the cave. When I look at the maps on line. Both the interactive ign map as well as the one posted in this subreddit 7 years ago. Both seem to have the pointer statue marked but not the cave location or the actual statue location. Unless I'm missing something.

Can anyone help by chance?

If I can figure out this particular statue I'm sure I can figure out how to find the others.

I've about beat the story and this is the first time I've even heard about these statues. Are there Any other game play elements I might not be aware of that are in the game but not marked or mentioned at any time?

I'm a huge fan of putting vanilla ice cream in different sodas and I've just found my new favorite combination.... Apple soda float!

So I've always loved root beer floats. I don't often drink soda because of the sugar and price and I struggle enough already with my weight and calories. So when I do drink soda, I usually go ahead and plop some ice cream in there and make it a real treat.

I don't know what it is about root beer, which is already great alone, flavor wise, but when you mix it with vanilla ice cream it creates a whole new and amazing flavor that is the root beer float. So as a young one I always was curious what different sodas might taste like when you float them. So I've tried about every combo you can think of. From the normal pops like coke, Pepsi, Dr. P, RC. All are great and even better when floated, especially Dr. P. Too fruity sodas like strawberry, pineapple, grape and even coconut (coconut soda is real and it's awesome, especially If you blend it with pineapple).

Well one of my favorite sodas that I struggle to find is apple soda. I love it. It's like apple juice mixed with sparkling water. It's apple juice with a bite. I just love it but I never thought to float it. Probably because I so rarely find one and never have ice cream available when I have one, but the local Walmart has started carrying 2 liters of apple soda, prices less than name brand sodas and made with real sugar and not corn syrup, which I appreciates about them. 😉 And I just so happened to have some ice cream left from my last root beer float run.

I think about it and say to myself "self, why have we never thought about this?" And I made an apple soda float and it is hands down my new favorite flavor. It absolutely tastes like an apple pie alamode in carbonated water. It's exactly as good as your imagining right now. It's so amazing I had to search reddit for some place appropriate to share this.

I hope you all enjoy my rant and I hope you get to try one now that I've placed the bug in your ear.

You won't be disappointed. It's amaze.

I'm new here and to the game and have one problem I can't find an answer to...

I'm trying to do the wingsuit challenges and I notice in the video before the challenge that rico seems to be able to use a tether while gliding to gain speed and then transition back into the glide without going into the parachute. I can not for the life of me figure out how to do this...

It would help me alot of I can figure out this, I'm assuming simple mechanism. Every time I tether while gliding it seems the only way out of it is to pull the chute.

Any other tips for beginners concerning the wingsuit or using the grapple is appreciated as well

Thanks.

What's the best score you've gotten in golf?

I have never been much of a golfer but this go round I've been playing a lot. I usually hit somewhere between -4 and +4. Never gotten a hole in one, but I have hit the flag on the first hit once. Makes me wonder if it's even possible. But the game I just finished I hit a birdie on every hole but one, and hit par on that hole. Which is my best score yet. So -8 is my best. Anyone get a better score than that?

Weird question. I'm trying to grind up my stats, strength specificly. So when I play a game of darts or golf or tennis. At the end you have the option to replay or continue. If I chose to replay, do I get the stat boost from both games, or does it essentially erase the last game and start over?

Basicly what the title says. When hanging out with both dudes and playing golf. Your only allowed to play once per hang. But at the end of the game, on ps4, you can press x to replay the game or 0 to continue, which then gives the exiting animation and allows you to take whomever home or to the next hang spot.

My question is if I choose x and replay the game of golf, or any game because they all give this option at the end, do I still get the credit in my strength stat for the game I just played or does chosing to "replay" essentially erase the game I just played and start me over, stat wise.

I've tried testing it to find out. But the stat bar growth is so subtle that I can't visually detect it either way.

I'd love to know if I can get into a shirt game of tennis or darts and keep "restarting" over and over to grind my stat bar up, but I'd also hate to waste the amount of time it would take to be able to tell if it's working or not... Shoot. I don't even know how many games id need to play to visually tell if it is working or not. I don't know how many games it takes to register a point on the stat bar.

Also, does winning give you more strength growth than losing? I'm pretty sure it doesn't, but maybe someone here knows. Maybe darkviper knows...

Lamar just flipped on the police station during a hang out with Franklin.

So I've played several times and I looked all over online and didn't see it talked about.

I'm taking Lamar to the bar and he's talking that yee yee ass BS about your boy Franklin not being good now that he's got money. You know, the same old story. Well I'm driving around the corner where the PD/tow yard is and mar sticks his hand outside the passenger window and hold the bird all the way untill we pass the block. I've never seent this before.

Lame. Anyways. is there a place to find the electric sport car in story mode? Voltic I think it's called...

I don't think I can buy it, I've looked at the car websites. And I had one I found earlier but I stupidly changed characters and then immediately changed back once I realized what I did and he had already ditched the car. I think I found the voltic while hitting the realtor guys signs with Trevor but I'd like to find one as Mike.

If anyone know a reliable spawn point for one of these, the more specific the better. Pls and thanks
