I work as front desk in the sketchy part of town on night shift I've seen pretty much everything, and I know way more about the hotel systems than I wish I did, ask me whatever your hearts desire my friends.
Ok so, here me out. Say you wake up as sam it's a week before the world falls apart, and you still have all of your prior memories, and any prior knowledge of the look outside world (let's say for the sake of argument that the unity note from sybil doesn't end the whole world because you know it).
What do you think would happen? You think you would survive? What are y'all's theories on if you were to actually witness the visitor? I wonder what we would turn into, since transformations seem to be based on the individual as well as how the visitor perceived said individual.

So I was running, that's how it started. I was running because I was just selected for gleaning (read Scythe by Neal shusterman, that's where this comes from, basically humans are immortal until a Scythe kills them, scythe being a person specially trained for death.)If you run from a Scythes attempt to kill you, You've doomed not only you but your entire family to the same fate as you, so safe to say I was not feeling great in the dream.
I ran and ran and ran until I saw a helicopter being boarded by a lot of fancy looking people, I thought no way in hell am I getting in there, but what do I have to lose. I run up to the line, and standing in front of me is Mr. Beast, same dead eye grin as always. He says hello, I say hi. And he asks why I'm out of breath. I say that I'm wanted by the higher ups for a crime I didn't commit... He nods. Says that's unfortunate and that things will get better. He asks what's the punishment, I say Capital and he goes quiet after a slight "ahh..." Then he LETS ME BOARD THE HELICOPTER just as the Scythe who was planning on killing me shows up. Mr. Beast saved my life for another day! Then we landed and it turned into a survival game for some reason but yeah. Thought this was pretty neat to say the least. Sorry this turned into a bit of an essay lol
Question in title, I sometimes get 5 dollar for 1 mile orders which say I got it cause if platinum but like is that actually accurate and good or should I not care about my rating?
I don't like R key, it's meant for completion marks and achievement hunting, but once you have a completed file it's purpose is gone. Everyone loves a good strong run that lasts forever but still dislike r key

I (21M) live with my Fiance (20F) and her family which consists of 2 special needs children, mom who is also special needs and dad who is too old to work. The parents are overweight and only do Spark (Walmart doordash), while the special needs children don't work and my Fiance and I work 40 hours a week at Amazon. The parents decided to rent under the table at this airbnb and that's where weve been staying for the past month or so. The money has been extremely tight and I'm trying to be an adult and figure shit out but I just got out of the military and I'm freaking out and I know people on the Internet could care less about me and I'm just trying to figure out what I can do to help my Fiance cause she's freaking out and I'm scared. Does anyone know what to do in this situation or what you would do? Fiance and I are trying to save money but the parents charge us rent and basically all of our money goes to the parents and it's basically a scam but they needed the money. I don't know what to do?!?
