ULPT Request - Competitor is getting good reviews fast
I've been in business own quite some time and now a local competitor is getting a ton of good reviews quick, they're gaining on me. How can I remediate this and continue my market dominance?

Just picked up the truck for my gf, it overheats pretty easily and goes through batteries quickly too. That lvc is pretty high. Don't have a temp gun right now but I know it's going into thermal shutdown under moderate usage.
I'm looking to solve the problem. I thought about drilling holes in the body and putting a bigger fan on the motor and esc, and dropping a few pinions teeth. I'm not sure about the fan size and connector to use for that though.
Other option and more of a permanent solution seems like a hobywing esc and motor. Although I don't know if this will even lower the temps, may still have the same problem? I don't know. I would also need to get a receiver with DSC preferably, because it's for my gf and she's new to RC cars. It helps. So not sure which combo to get.
Am I on the right path, what should I do to get rid of lvc and overheating? Please help, thanks.
I'm thinking about getting one for my girlfriend so she can drive with me. I'm doing research, and I've read about lvc being an issue and possible runaways with the 2in1 esc. Does arrma have a good warranty or should I steer clear due to possible issues and get her something else?
I used cement fiba tape and e6000. I removed the plastic bracing and got to work.

Notes: Don't sand the inside, it immediately started to remove the paint. I wiped the inside of the body with alcohol.
Don't wipe the inside of the body with alcohol, that also removes paint.

I wiped the the body with a dry shop towel and applied the fiba tape. It took a little trial and error to get it then I got into a flow state about halfway through. I taped the body brace holes and mounting holes with masking take on the outside. I then applied 2 tubes of e6000 mostly using the fingers in gloves. The old credit card helped spreading and caught the adhesive that oozed out while the the tube was set down.

About halfway through the first tube I got "range anxiety". The 2 tubes worked good for the whole body though. I should have used the masking tape on the entire outside of the body because I did get a little adhesive on the outside. That doesn't bother me much though, will use tape on outside next time for sure.

All in all, it took 2 hours and I'm very happy with the result. No doubt it will take much less time next time now that I've done it one. I'll post finished pictures tomorrow when it's finished drying.
