Maybe the genre isn't for me?

Vinland saga is one of my favorite manga/animes of all time. I've read gantz all the way through and most of berserk and I thought they were just alright. I started climber, but lost interest 10 chapters in. I can't decide if I haven't found the right series or I just don't like seinen, other than vinland saga.

Starting over!

I finally decided to take my hair extensions out. I loved the way they looked, but underneath my hair was getting worse and worse. I got all the stringy length taken off and went short! I haven't had my hair this short since high school. Feels crazy!

Inositol and mood stabilizers

I have PMOS. I have been experiencing hairloss, which can be a symptom of this. I started taking inositol about 2 months ago, hoping that it would level out whatever imbalance might be affecting my hair.

I also have bipolar 2, which can cause intense depression. I read online that inositol is supposed to improve mood. I was looking forward to seeing those affects.

Well in the last 2 months I have been feeling more and more depressed and anxious. My psychiatrist has been baffled since I have been on a high dose of lamotrigine for years and it had been treating my bipolar so effectively before.

Turns out, Lamotrigine can interact with mood stabilizers, causing them to be ineffective. I am shocked. I did not think an over the counter supplement could have such a detrimental result! Use my experience as a cautionary tale!

Starting my hair healing journey

(32F) I have pmos. I've always had thin/fine hair, but I noticed it getting worse about a year ago. I went in to see my dr last week. All my blood tests were technically normal. I noticed I have a ferritin level of 28. I told my dr I think that is too low, so she agreed to start me on a prescription iron supplement (325mg daily).

I started taking vitamin b12, d, and inositol a month ago. I take vyvanse, lamotrigine, and ashwagandha for mental illness, I'm not sure if that is effecting my hair. I have also been taking birth control since I was a teenager to treat my pmos.

I have an appointment with a dermatologist this week. I'd also like to see an endocrinologist, but my dr told me I'd need to be off birth control for 3 months for them to accurately assess my hormones.

I have been wearing hair extensions since February. I'm having them removed in a couple weeks and getting my hair cut short.

Am I on the right track?

Got the blood test

My hair has been thinning badly the last year or so. I went in for a blood test. My ferritan, b12, and thyroid were all low, but still in the normal range. I just started taking b12 and ferritin. I'm really hoping my dr doesn't just tell me my thyroid is normal and they're not gonna do anything.

I think my boss is buying counterfeit instruments

The red one is mine and the purple is one he bought recently. I have to sharpen the purple one every day and it still feels dull. And the text is obviously different. Do you think it's a fake? How can I tell for sure?

Tips and tricks?

My(31F) hair is naturally thin. I have pmos (formally known as pcos) so that has caused more hairloss as i've gotten older. On top of that, I had some bad extensions earlier this year that absolutely decimated my hair. I have micro tip extensions now (done properly) that are hiding the bald patches while it grows back. I'm going to get them taken out and get it cut short once my scalp has some coverage again.

What are you best tips and tricks to grows hair back?

*Please be kind. I know extensions are a controversial topic on reddit.*

I got k-tip extensions for the first time. I think they were done wrong and I don't know what to do. They were $800.

I just got my first maintenance done. There was a little over an inch of grow out/slippage. Some of the pieces were adjusted closer to the scalp. There are a lot of pieces the technician didn't adjust at all. Is this normal?
