How do you guys get speed like Fernández when he plays Legnani’s Caprice Op20? Its written for 120bpm max but this guy is playing it at like 160bpm. I havent had a teacher in a long time since I did my gr8 many years ago, so I’m feeling a little bit fomo that, even though I can play it as written, someone else is playing it at least 40bpm higher!! Not that I ever expect to be a Fernández any time soon. Do I need to spam rest stroke exercises for a month?

11 years and 390000kms later, we might have to say goodbye to this one soon. Wanted to honour such a great roadtripper, for so little money, such little fuss. Brakes changed once (naturally), shocks replaced once (naturally), two times battery died cuz i played music for too long with the engine off, the stereo amp replaced, and the wiring for the transmission needed a look. No collisions at all thankfully, but recently, a bus took off the side mirror while I was parked. And a nephew ran his bike into my door, but barely a scratch. Oh and a pebble chipped the windshield at one point. 391000 good ones. Snowboarding, wineries, visiting family, daily work trips, weekly groceries. Good job buddy. Still runs super well. That said we just got a new Volkswagen.
