Interested in picking this up soon when it’s 50% off. I have oily, textured skin but don’t mind some dewiness (as long as it’s not excessive, and it doesn’t break apart 😅). For reference, I enjoy the Nars and Milk skin tint even if it is quite dewy :)

The Summer Fridays liners are all new to me and I’ve been happily using them. They’re great! 💗 Almond is so faint when swatched on my arm in store, but on my lips it’s the perfect MLBB shade. Trust in those Tiktok reviews I guess 😂🤞🏼

I was so excited to finally see Toasted Teddy back in stock IN STORES in Sephora 🥹🥹🥹 It was unexpected which made me even happier!

Vanilla is my first peptide treatment, and I like it more than the tinted ones 😭 I can’t believe I waited so long to try. It’s thicker and feels more plush and moisturizing. I went in store to hopefully grab salted caramel but sadly the app was lying and it wasn’t available lol. I want to try that next - I love the scent!

I also picked up candy apple on a whim.. I want to try red blush 🎈🥰 It’s pigmented and bright on my medium skin, so there is definitely a learning curve. I bought it bc I wanted to get the Prada blush in Cherry so wanted to test it out with this first (as it’s cheaper haha).

A haul from the weekend of hell 😭 Thankfully, my bf got refunded so he treated me to a little haul 🥰🫶🏻 Much needed trip after dealing with some heavy family crisis recently. Happy to get a couple things off my wishlist 🥹

🎡 Prada eyeliner in 01: Tested it out today and it might be the most budge proof liner for oily gals like me. Just need to test it more!
🎡 Rhode peptide treatment in vanilla: My first peptide treatment, I like it so much more than the tinted ones… how am I only finding out now!
🎡 Rhode blushes in candy apple and toasted teddy: FREAKED out when I found Toasted Teddy in the store! Finally! I wanted to dabble with red blush and candy apple is a good start. Need to learn to apply w a lighter hand- def pigmented!
🎡 Emi jay claw clip in pink angel: This was a splurge I wouldn’t have done if it weren’t for my bf treating me 🥲😂 But omg I LOVE it. I only got into doing half-up and half-down styles recently, as someone who only uses scrunchies 24/7. The hold is INSANE. Definitely a cute treat that’s worth it. I already placed an order for a big effing clip lol 😂

So shocked to see a wild Toasted Teddy appear! They are available in stores in multiple locations for me, Northern California :)

I’ve seen sun soak too and apparently sleepy girl as well (didn’t see tho - might be in the drawers)

These are shockingly similar to the Summer Fridays lip balm. Same texture and feel on the lips. Very slippery but with adequate grip so it’s not sloppy. Same applicator as well (more precise though - the tube itself is smaller and thinner).

Scent:
🍰 Strawberry Milk smells like your typical sweet strawberry scent. Smells kinda artificial. It’s growing on me but it definitely was too strong when I first smelled it.

☕️ Dirty Chai is my absolute FAVORITE scent in a lip balm 😭 It smells like a mix of caramel and chocolate. If you like gourmand, you will like this. Not artificial smelling. It kinda reminds me of Iced Coffee by Summer Fridays (or Hot Cocoa - it’s been a while since I owned those, but I’d bet on Iced Coffee). I’m ADDICTED 😭😍🥹

Tint:
Both tints are just a wash of color. Kinda sheer, not too pigmented. On my pigmented lips, I think strawberry showed up more while dirty chai was MLBB. Based on tint, I would return Dirty Chai but I love the scent so much, I’m keeping it lol. If you have the essence lip peptide, that’s more pigmented.

Feel:
These feel so dang similar to Summer Fridays. I put them both on each side of my lips, and barely felt a difference. Weightless, not sticky, not messy even if you smack your lips a lot. I just got this so Idk how moisturizing it is yet.

🛒 I got this yday at Target. Not on the shelves yet but in the employee carts for stocking. I def want to pick up the clear one!

🫶🏻 Overall, I think I’ll enjoy this. I don’t always want a thick lip balm which is why I keep at least one tube of SF in my collection. I was gonna return the strawberry but it’s growing on me. I recommend this if you want a cheaper alternative to Summer Fridays.

It is not the same as Eadem. I’ve seen a lot make that claim which can be misleading

1. Lip Maxi Glaze is way easier to squeeze out of the tube.
2. Eadem is a thicker formula, feels more plush on the lips.
3. Lip Maxi Glaze is quite slippy on the lips, and has less grip than their balm and mask.

Imo I like the balm and lip mask more. The formula of the glaze glides more on the lips which can be a good and bad thing. If you smack your lips a lot, the product can spill/ move beyond your lips. The balm and mask feel more balmy and substantial on the lips.

It does make my lips soft! Been testing the berry for almost a week. It gets rid of my soft flaking, and makes lips smooth.

Vanilla has the strongest scent. Personally I’m not a big fan of the other scents. The tint is sheer so you do have to apply more than usual - makes it feel even more slippery on the lips.

Imo if you are getting this to get the Eadem experience, just save up and get that one. I think this is more for the collectors/ those that don’t care enough to spend $24 on Eadem. Otherwise, I’d skip this. Eadem/ their lip masks/ balms are better.

Edit: The Cocoa Creme has the most noticeable tint on my pigmented lips. I didn’t like the scent at first but it’s growing on me. Also I do not think these lippies are bad at all. They work well! I just do not think they are Eadem dupes/ copies. I would still suggest picking this up if you are curious ❤️ I think it’s worth it for $10 if you know what you’re getting!

I’m trying to see if it’s worth getting the mini over the full size. I would love to get the full size (better value) but it’s not practical bc I plan to use this for events where I mostly use small bags.

I can be swayed if the mini gets used up too quickly though💀 Is it worth it? Should I not bother and just get the full size?

I was shopping for other lip balms (😂) and randomly stumbled upon this at Target! The scent is AMAZING - they captured the scent of a strawberry cupcake perfectly. It’s supposed to have a sheer pink tint.

They also have a vanilla one that is clear. Probably my next pick-up 😂

Really excited about this bc I didn’t even know they were releasing new shades! 💗🥰

⭐️ I’m happy with the mini kosas concealers - I’ve been wanting to try for the longest time, but didn’t pull the trigger as I hear they go bad quickly. I feel a mini is best for this formula! 🥰 and just in time as my concealers are running out 🥹

⭐️ Checking the app at 12am for weeks finally paid off! Rhode restocked a couple of their blushes. I hope they restock Toasted Teddy soon 🤞🏼🥹 I’m a bit disappointed though bc sleepy girl is showing up orange on my olive skintone 😭
