Spock's Beard - one of their best?
Just listened to their new one, "Archaeoptimist", and was blown away! After quite a few lackluster, forgettable albums in recent years, this one is a return to their early form, reminding me of the Neal Morse days. Give it a spin, see what you think!
Japan haul
So I’m visiting Tokyo, and went to Kitamura Camera, the big used (and new) camera store. I had a list of cool things I wanted - mostly older film cameras. Looked at stuff for hours, but they didn’t have any of those, so I bought a Canon 5D mark III and a nifty 50 instead. That’s it. That’s the post.
Sometimes a crappy snapshot is just a crappy snapshot.
How to refresh my Gallery in the app?
This evening I took a bunch of shots of the full moon. They all completed properly as far as iknow, and are present on the device when I hook it up to my computer. However they don't show up at all in the app gallery, so I can't use stellar studio on them or anything. I suspect user error, as my older stuff is showing up fine - but what is the problem?
Everything gone.
Arghhh… still learning how to use this mini. Last night, second night attempting some shots - I do 2 stacked shots, and had another one from a previous evening. It was late, but I started a mega stack going in the studio, which said it would take an hour, and had enough juice left in the mini to make it (probably), so I went to sleep. When I got up, nothing - no stacks, none of my test shots, everything was gone on the mini. It’s like it formatted itself when the power ran out or something. Touchy device, still have a lot to learn.
This unrefined picture of Vega lives on in my phone
Planned obsolescence sucks!
My Ultra v1 - This watch was designed to last 10 or more years, and I’ve owned this since it came out, worn it every day, and it’s still like new. It’s ridiculous that watch OS 27 won’t work on it, only 4 years in. Planned obsolescence just sucks. Apple should be ashamed of themselves.
