Waking up having a nice Sunday, when a VERY loud boom happens directly outside my apartment. Not knowing what happened, but seeing lots of glass in the road, so I called the non emergency line only to learn it's done online. I reported the glass in the road, and thought I was done having done my basic civic duty.

Now CSI is here and the road is blocked off with an investigation into an attempted homicide, and it was really gun shots.

How's your Sunday going?

Seems like having the name Joel means that when you do TM you're there to have more fun than win.

I'm watching Caprica for the first time after a Battlestar rewatch, and it's not bad for a teen sci-fi melodrama.

The only thing that really made me stop and laugh so far, is that a teen girl answered her cell phone, and it was an unknown number. Written just a few years too soon for texting to be taken serious enough to replace an actual call.
