I’m getting married end of September and my aunt is making my dress as my gift. It is a HUGE labor of love and I’d like to get her something to say thank you.

She and my uncle “had their courting days in Philly” as she likes to tell me, and they are huge oenophiles. They’ll be here for the week before my wedding and I’m wondering if there’s a wine-related place where I could treat them. Either a shop I could get a gift card to (I’m guessing this would be in NJ only) with a great selection or a place they could get both a great meal and good wine.

I’d like to do somewhere that would be easy to get into- our plans that week are a little up in the air so somewhere you can easily make a reservation for within 1-3 days would be good.

I’m getting married end of September and my future MIL gifted me a gorgeous earring and bracelet set that matches my engagement ring. I think I’d like the earrings changed to dangle earrings instead of clip-ons, but I’m worried anyone I need to mail them to will take too long. Anyone know of any local jewelry stores who could do this?

My partner and I are coming in to New London around 12pm on Sunday but our ferry won't be until 4:45pm. Is there anywhere near the station to store bags? Last year we had a similar wait and with one large and one small suitcase it meant we were pretty much stuck at the station since we couldn't walk around easily. I was hoping someone on here might have an idea if there's any bag storage nearby that's available; I already know the station and that there's no storage there.

I became a nail polish enthusiast a few years ago and have quite a bit of nail polishes I would love to put to use. I have heard that nursing homes often appreciate these donations. I would absolutely be willing to donate nail painting services too- I’m not a professional by any means, but spending a couple hours a week doing nails for someone who needs help would be a lot of fun for me.

If anyone has a contact for a location please let me know! I’d love to get to pass along the extra polishes I’ve fixed up and restore for further use.
