My old man loves podcasts like the economist and USED to listen to npr but he says its changed a lot. He's left leaning but doesnt like narratives being pushed on him from either side and would like something neutral and informative. Any recommendations would be much appreciated thank you.

For actually creating a physical copy of the game and not pulling some bullshit GTA6 is doing or what Doom The Dark Ages did. Love the new Doom series but I chose to purchase SM2 over D:TDA to support physical copy releases and not some downloadable disc bs.

Bit of a broad and odd question but I have social anxiety and would like to get over that and become more social. I have taken the proper steps, therapy, signed up for hobbies (boxing, kickboxing, wrestling, DnD, and tabletop wargaming) these have all helped build confidence around people but I struggle finding things to talk about if its not nerdy or combat sport related. is there a friendly bar where people are more accepting of being talked to or where my chances of being approached for a casual conversation is higher? im getting secondhand embarrassement from typing this out but social anxiety sucks ass and summer is here and would like to get to know more people and build relationships.
